Great staff, very helpful. Large selection of pet necessities. They host puppy adoptions from time to time and have a nice pond in the back corner that my son just loves

Brought our Pomeranian for a deluxe package groom and left him at 10:00 for his appointment. Made sure to give my cell # so they can call when ready. 14:30 no call, so we decided to go up and check on him... lady said : oh! He's been ready for long while we didn't call the right number. I personally gave my cell.# to the lady and she wrote it by hand on the appointment sheet! She checked it twice. This place is runned by people who do not want to work. Don't care about customers. We paid for the loaded package. They didn't put the little bandana that comes with the package... Will not return .

Brought my 11 yr old Valley bulldog there to have his nails clipped. He has 1 crazy nail that he lost when he broke a toe and it grew back twice as strong an longer than hus other nails. He lost it again when a vet wouldn't cut it back an he broke it off between our deck boards. Debbie was so patient an kind with him 3 times now an helping to keep it under control. Usually he is terrified an shaking but she is so great with him, an my other pup too. She makes the experience not so scarey for him. Thanks so much Debbie

I was extremely disappointed to find out after I returned my dogs food as she is an incredibly picky eater that they throw out the remaining dog food. It was a 20Lbs bag that my dog had a mere scoop of that I returned the following day. In my experience, as I am forced to return more food than I’d like from other pet stores that nearly every other pet store will donate the unsellable returns of food to animal shelters. I asked why they did not do this and the manager had no response. I am disgusted at the thought of wasting such a large amount of dog food when there are many places it could be donated to rather than discarded in the garbage. Pet smart continues to add to the consumeristic mind set of profit and selfish avenues of ease over reuse and distribution to animals in need. I will never be shopping at this store again until they change their policy on food returns.

Nice koi/goldfish pond. Fish supplies were well stocked but the available fish was kind of sad. Dependable dog and cat supplies. Can't speak for small animals as I'm not familiar with them.

I want to like this store. They have tons of great stuff and the prices are decent, but finding staff to talk to is almost as bad as home depot. I think that they only have 3 staff working at any given time and one of them is working the cash register. The type of dog food that I usually purchased was not in stock more often than it was available, so I ended up switching foods and going to a different store. Too bad, it's a nice place, just no staff.

Has what no-one else in town for transporting pets but does not carry what I want, at least in store. The budgies flitting amongst the beams in this warehouse (store) was a little disconcerting at first.Wandering over to the fish pond and looking at how large the coi have gotten was nice, though.Of what they carried that I needed was easy to find and the associate that assisted me was pleasant and showed knowledge about the item I could not find and suggested some alternatives that would not help from what was carried in stock.

3 trips in 1 month… 1st time I called & was told they have it in stock, $22. in cab to get there only to find that they really didn’t have it in stock & had nothing even similar to what I needed… another $22. back hm in cab empty handed & extremely disappointed2nd trip again not in stock & stood around 20 mins waiting for anyone to help which in the end I never got ?3rd trip STILL not in stock however after 10 mins of waiting on employees to help I talked with someone who openly admitted she knew nothing about any of the products didn’t know what to recommend & told me my guess was as good as hers…so if your new to having a pet… I don’t recommend going here seeking advice on toys/food or any other formulas to help train your new pet… NOT enough employees or knowledge possibilities

$167.72 and they did a terrible job grooming our dog. The price is too high for such a poor job. Do not bother taking your dog here.

Very well stocked. Associates are too busy to give assistance though. Maybe working short handed?

Warning - irresponsible staff and management don’t care about animals, only their bottom line. I wouldn’t trust them to keep your animals safe.Went here November 19th to buy litter and saw two budgies flying around the store that had escaped. I assumed staff didn’t know as they had no sign on the door, and the ceiling fans were still running. They said the birds had actually escaped the day before, and they didn’t have time to catch them yet. They were making no effort to catch them while the store was operating. She said other people brought it up as well and they would figure it out after hours. When I told them if one were to hit one of the ceiling fans or fly outside into the -15C temperature they would die. They didn’t care “too busy!”.I realize people may think “oh they’re just birds who cares”, but they’re still living creatures THEY brought to the store to sell and THEY have a responsibility for. Imagine it was your dog or cat in for a grooming, it gets out and they just tell you “oh sorry we’re too busy to catch them, maybe after hours, they probably won’t run outside and die”.There was another couple there also worried about them and said they also complained. Judging by how indifferent the staff were I don’t think they were planning on doing anything. It’s disgusting behaviour, I won’t be back here anymore, and I suggest you don’t either if you care about your pets.
