This place is honestly the MOST brutal establishment I've ever dealt with. They open up acting like the "saving grace" for all the people in town with no Dr then slap you with a fee to be a patient. They also DO NOT refund you if you pay for a yearly "membership" then find a family dr. Thank you pharmasave for robbing me of $85 for nothing. Who ever runs this place should be disgusted with themselves and the way they run this hell hole. I feel bad for the NPs that work here. My nurse was great but this business is absolutely trash.

I have never ever experienced anything as horrible as this pharmacy in my life. Want to fill your prescription? Good luck. They say they offer the ability to fill if you leave a voicemail but any time I have done so I have NEVER had it filled. They also say you can do it online using their e-pharmacy or via email, but again, any time I have tried to use these services I come to the pharmacy for them to not even acknowledge it has been requested. So I have to drive all the way to the pharmacy in person, which wouldn’t be bad if it was filled within a timely manner, but it is always a 1-2 hour wait at minimum. I have even had them tell me they can’t give me medications that are due because their system says it’s been filled within the last 30 days (it hadn’t). So I think there is something generally wrong with the way they input their medication requests for this to happen to me multiple times. In terms of their staff, I have had some very pleasant experiences, but most of the time they’re actually quite rude. If it wasn’t so expensive to switch pharmacy’s, I would have done so a long time ago. But now with the fees to continue being a patient, I’ll also be opting out of continuing my care here.Honestly, I pay enough in my taxes for OHIP, why would I pay for family care when we are literally in the middle of an economic crisis where most people are struggling for food and housing? Why should I pay for awful service too?? NP’s should be covered by OHIP. There’s not a single place in town taking patients for family health care that doesn’t have a year and a half long waiting list but I’d rather go to a walk-in like I had been the past 6 years of living in Thunder Bay and be able to use a pharmacy that will actually give me my medications without a hassle than pay to continue going to this awful awful place.

Love my NP here, but everything else is so disorganized. I can NEVER get through when trying to call the receptionist. They leave me on hold, but when I’m there in person, I never see them on the phone. Please stop ignoring your patients

Appointment do not seem to mean anything. Consistently 20-30 (and sometimes 45) minutes later than your appointment time. They are private clinic so you pay $100 a year AND if you do not use their pharmacy it costs you $40 per medical appointment. No choice as no doctors are taking patients.

Both sides are good. Those who complain about membership fee are just unrealistic complainers. They want to be taken seriously but won’t even pay a small fee to keep the clinic open. And NP is great and pharmacy is great. Get over self and get a life or keep eating to find a family doctor. ?

The clinicians know their job. The pharmacy, however, is disorganized. Moreover, if you don't use the pharmacy they charge you to use the clinic. They've also started charging $100/yr to access the clinic. There excuse is, "we're a private clinic not funded by OHIP," to which I reply what is happening to medical care in this country?

The Nurse Practioners say they are still taking new patients ... despite having 3 in 6 months! One on maternity, one quit, and the new one you have to book an appointment 1 and a half months in advance. Called 3 days in a row to get in on an emergency appointment only to be caller #1 each morning at 9am and left on hold for at least 40 minutes before hanging up on me! Don't waste your time! Plus they want you to transfer all your prescriptions to the pharmacy if you want a NP!

Can never get through to pharmacy, and rarely get through to reception. Ive been trying to get through for days upon days at all hours, being on hold for multiple hours. This is ridiculous! When it says I am 1st in line, but its been an hour- where are your staff?!When Ive seen my NP shes been great- but good luck getting through in the first place.

Clinic is now private and wants you to pay out of pocket to see a NP. Not only that you have to pay a membership fee monthly / yearly to even keep your spot. what’s the point of having health benefits if they don’t cover this . What a joke of a province.

I've changed my review to a 1 star. I would not recommend coming here. My practitioner is great but that doesn't compensate for all the newly minted fees and general scummyness of the place

The clinic side is well managed and my current doctor is wonderful. The Pharmasave is absolute garbage. Several times they have been closed during their posted open hours, on the weekends and also during the weekdays. Once I had spoken to a pharmacy staff on the phone and arranged to pick up my prescription that day, only to get there and find the place closed and dark.I have also ordered my refill in person and the pharmacist said that it would be filled in 20 minutes so I opted to wait in the store. He was aware I was waiting and the lobby was not busy. Over 30 minutes later (gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they WERE busy) and the pharmacist packs up and leaves for the day! I went to the counter and a (very nice) young woman helped me immediately as my prescription only involves taking a box off the counter and putting a label on it. The pharmacist clearly does not care to do his job at all.Don't waste your time at this pharmacy. After the last time they were unexpectedly closed, I immediately drove to Shoppers on Memorial and immediately received prompt, pleasant care. It is well worth it to pay the fee and have your prescriptions transferred elsewhere.

$40 per a visit if you don’t use the on site pharmacy . Can take a month or longer to get an appointment. The pharmacy was constantly “missing” information, scripts, repeats and just not filling things when they said they would.
