My rating might be justifiable or not but I got my bag stolen from inside the bank. It was a red backpack. My laptop and some documents were inside. All I need is my laptop and a letter that was in my bag.

Very slow service and inefficient..I am literally stuck because of their lack of punctuality I regret that I chose RBC..I suggest you be very thorough with your request and keep following up because they will not process your request for weeks after the application because the same thing happened to me..Just one star for your services.

Honestly some of the slowest and inefficient service I’ve ever experienced. The bank also looks underfunded, dingy and unwelcoming. On top of the nearly 40 minute, when I asked to take out cash in specific denominations, there was a concern that there wasn't enough bills on hand to supply my money? I run a business and over 40 minutes to get some petty cash is insane. Get it together RBC.

Memorial location discriminated against me because of my race. They also insinuated I was a thief prior to verifying my identity. I also could not get a mortgage through them, but down the road I received a cheaper rate and all she did was listen to my story. Recently, just after my mom's passing, the estate department called me a tax evader. Non of my income is taxable.Rbc has no intention on Indigenous relations. They love to hold Indigenous money in trust but not allow us to purchase homes. They also refused to wave probate on my mother's account when she passed. She was a dependant adult that I paid everything for. They refused me based on my "maxed out" credit cards. Which I paid off prior to her passing. I used these credit cards until my disability payments came in 2 months later from having to take time off for my mothers traumatic and unexpected death. A majority of the one card was for hotels for my 4 children and I and travel costs/expenses to release her ashes in Victoria BC.Please do not support a business that does not support its community.

Amazing experience yesterday opening an account with Inderjeet. I definitely feel like I made the right choice with my new bank. Thanks for the awesome service, and for making it so easy!

I walked in on a Tuesday seeking help with some old Canadian currency. There were no lines and three tellers on duty. The young man at the front desk seemed okay at first and listened to what I had to say, he then went to the tellers, who were busy filing their nails, and came back grave faced saying that they could not help me and was dismissed with a curt “bye”. In all my experience traveling around the world, I don’t think I have ever been treated so rudely. Anyways enjoy the one star, you’ve earned it.

Staff member made appointment for a dead person. Then proceeded, to state the appointment was made under their account. The person make this appointment did not tell me the appointment was made. When I orginal went to the bank to make the appointment. I was told I had appointment for oct 4 at 1300 hours with said employee. When i arrived there was no appointment. I write everything in my planner. If appointment was made for the 12 it would have been there. So I guess they were waiting for the dead person to show up as I wasn't. The manager was rude. The employee that made the appointment was incompetent. The should both be fired. I have made a formal complaint to head office. Not only is my mother deceased . The bank has made my stress level higher. How would like to go to the bank and find out that they made appointment for a dead person. Then back track and say it's under the account name. When it's an estate account. Who is incompetent. Shame on you. BmO would never do this. When I first made this appointment the employee want to speak to my deceased mother prior to speaking about the account. I told her it's a estate account. I had to repeat myself a few time. Final I tolder she's dead. Never in a hundred years will I deal with RBC. SHAME ON YOU?

Only one teller working at a time is ridiculous. You can run 2 or 3 and still socially distance.
