I had really bad experience in Sephora, thunder Bay. I was learning different brands in the store and tried find the right something for myself. An shop assistant was helping me, we are studyinh in the same college so I felt comfortable talking with her. But later another staff called her away. I waited for them in the store for over 2 hours. No one was helping me. Only one person asked if I needed help close to the end. I asked for something, she just pointed out the direction and seems unwilling to guide me to the place. Then guess what, the security guy came and asked me to go out side, and forbidded me for ever coming into the store again. Lol. Because I talked to some customers and they complained about me. During the entire waiting time, I only had short conversations two people, asking for their opinions over perfumes. Because no one was helping me. This is reduculous. I don't know if there is any other reasons that they banned me. Since I was the only Asian person in the store.If you go to sophera, don't talk to anyone. You might get banned.

I don’t like whenever i go to shop there i just get followed by the employees. They should be doing a better job at keeping the space clean rather than following teenagers.

I have been to Sephora in Thunder Bay a number of times. I have been treated like a thief and made to feel extremely uncomfortable. A lot of the times of times I was ignored completely. Then had a negative experience of two workers watching me and laughing. When I looked up to see what they were doing one of them quickly turned to hide her face. Yesterday I went in to buy lipstick and sad to say I still felt extremely uncomfortable in the store. I ended up putting the items back and walking out. I have had conversations with my classmates about their experiences at the store. A number of them have had similar negative experiences.

Ordered online and went in to pick up. Only ordered two things but one was missing from the bag. I’m very grateful to how the staff handled it. Normally too anxious to say anything but Fenty is expensive. Girl who helped me, replaced the item and was so nice. Thank you!

Rude and unprofessional staff!Me and my cast mates are in town with a travelling theatre group and we went to Sephora to stock up on some stage make up but were met with rude and unprofessional staff. EVERY time one of us (5 of us) would ask for help the staff would be so so rude and unhelpful and deny helping us at all. Although no one would help us, they were all there to follow us around like criminals. Even the security guy was insulting saying hello and greeting everyone BUT people of colour. Will never go to this location ever again!

Had a great experience visiting the store. One of their associates helped me pick the right foundation shade for my skin. She was very helpful and made sure she answered all my questions.

I’m very disappointed in my experience with Sephora. The first time I called to try and book a makeover I was on hold for 20 minutes so I finally hung up. The second time I got a female that could not understand that I wanted to book a makeover. I was very clear about what I was asking. Finally a man came on and said that “they had limited artists” and “to book online” and hung up on me. So after three strikes….I wont be supporting this store.

Hi, I shopped at Sephora a few weeks ago in the seek of a product that would benefit my eye bags. A employee named Kayla offered me amazing customer service and introduced me to a product called "Argan Pro- Retinol Eye Concentrate by Josie Maran". I couldn't be happier with my purchase. After applying it daily for 2 weeks, I already appear alot more awake. I feel great and I applaud Kayla from ThunderBay Sephora for the Amazing customer serviceYours truly,Hilary Duguay

Associates are very rude and act as if you're stealing when just trying to shop. Went in to buy some things I was out of and buy a new pallet and had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the rudest associate I've ever met. Put everything down and left. Will order online from now on. Thought I'd give them another chance after being followed around like I was stealing the previous time I was in. I've been to other Sephora locations and have had nothing but great experiences, this one is garbage.

Beware of expiration dates. Made a purchase in July just after the Thunder Bay store reopened after Covid. The product I purchased had expired but as I did not use it within the 60 days of there return policy they would not exchange the product. I was then scolded by Amy that I had plenty of time within those 60 days to use the product. Clearly Sephora does not check the age of their products and does not value their rouge customers with 10,000 points on their account. Not that it should make a difference but clearly it’s all about getting the sales and not supporting the products they are selling. I would think in this time of Covid local retailers would be doing everything in their power to satisfy their customer base considering everyone’s business maybe be facing closure. I should also note that in the 10 years I have been shopping at Sephora this is my first return. Buyers beware of aged stock make sure you don’t purchase things like mascara for 50 dollars only to find it expired to not be given an exchange. Also don’t waste your time at the management level or the district Managment level. They are not in any position to solve your problem. Very disheartening as visiting this store with my daughters was a regular outing. Not only have they lost my business they have also lost my families business as well. But I am sure this post will be of no importance.

Sephora used to be a store I would dred going into. It easily turned into one of my favourite stores to stop into. The workers are super friendly, between Roy T and the manager Colin and the beautiful ladies (I cant remember names, sorry ladies I will make it a point too) you will have all your questions answered and super friendly service. Knowledgeable staff and what an excellent job making shoppers comfortable and safe during COVID too
