This pharmacy is brutal. It’s been going down hill for awhile and I’m switching to some place else. Customer service is terrible and it’s like they can’t be bothered to provide a minimum standard of care and help. I don’t work there so you as an employee need to handle your job unless you prefer me to hop behind the counter… I will stay far away from any shoppers pharmacy as they seem to be complacent in having this type of garbage service across the board.

The post office clerk was so helpful, even though it was very busy that evening she came back from her break to help me with mailing a package, and when I thought I had forgotten my bag there she followed up and called at end end of her shift to make sure I had found my belongings.

It's a perplexing choice to encourage people to use self checkouts that don't disable your inventory control tags and then send security guards to accost them in the parking lot when the alarm inevitably beeps. I won't pretend to know what, if anything, was going on in this store's managements' heads when they decided this was how they were going to run their business, but there are enough places in town that don't treat their customers like criminals that there isn't really a good reason to spend money here.

Renewed my prescription (150mg) and was given 100mg. With a label on it that says take with 50mg pill.Request for renewal of the second half was cancelled multiple times with no contact. Called to iron it out and the pharmacist schooled me on fractions and essentially said they have to split up my prescription because there aren't any 150mg pills. I didn't know that meant I had to renew each half because the pharmacy decided to split it up. I asked if I had to ensure to renew both halves from now on and I was told it's just the way it is because of the pill sizes.Pretty sure my single prescription for 150 is what I legally have, I don't care how you math it, give me my entire prescription thanks.

Very disappointed they won’t refill children epi pens when a doctor closes their clinic without question. They have been refilling other medications at the same time every month until today where now there’s a new policy where I have to wait until my son is down to his last two pills yet it can take two days to weeks to get the meds fill. No one’s on the same page. I have no time to pick up meds yet they want me there 3 different times in one week to pick up medications. I am at the end with this pharmacy I’ve been dealing with it for years the one woman pharmacist will actually tell you to shut up happened last year well my son was having an allergic reaction at that time she refused to help and it’s getting worse and worse. Once I figured out how to transfer I will be because my kids and myself deserve better treatment. From a very upset parent!!!!

The two pharmacists working today (Monday June 5th) should lose their licence. They forgot half of my mother's medication and never bothered to tell anyone. So much suffering because of incompetence. Choose a different pharmacy.

My medicine is found in every pharmacy. However, I am waiting for it for a week. I have been to this branch of Shoppers (300 Memorial Ave, Thunder Bay) four times in the past week. They provided me with a different medicine four days ago. I took a tab (without looking at the bottle's label) in the early morning and drove to work later on while I was extremely dizzy (a side effect of the wrong medicine). The next day I figured out this significant error and went to discuss it with them. They simply said sorry and took it and promised to refill my own medicine shortly. I have not heard back from them since then. I am not feeling good given I have not received my medicine for a week. Besides, some signs of sudden medicine withdrawal are appearing. Do not trust them!

It’s really unfortunate that so many people shoplift because the staff really make innocent people feel extremely uncomfortable as if they too are going to steal when they have zero intentions of something like that. I come to this shoppers all the time and spend a lot of my money here , tonight was now the 3rd time that I have be confronted and treated with suspicion for simply shopping as I always do. I don’t know if I look like someone or what it is exactly that centers me out , but it sure does shake me up for a while after I leave . Tonight I was asked to put all my items up on the counter while I continue to shop, I had no problems doing this , when I was done I went up to the counter , paid for all my things and left respectfully. But when I don’t see everyone else having to do this , I sure do feel a type of way . Kind of weird , might be changing my store of choice going forward . Rarely do I go there and not leave without at least $100 worth of items , I’ll spend my money elsewhere . Anyone else struggle with this? (Arthur St West location)

Horrible pharmacy and customer service. Has lied on multiple occasions that they have faxed my doctor when I have confirmed they have not. Have been forced to wait up to 7 days for a refill due to their incompetence. Was told to "go see your doctor for a prescription", when they can't do the simple job of faxing my doctors office (who is 16 hrs away, so no I cannot go see my doctor). Would give 0 stars to this location for their pharmacy's incompetence.

Do Not trust this pharmacy! My daughter almost died due to their negligence. Two pharmacists checked the medication and they still got the dose wrong. Everyone knows how serious prednisone is. My daughter still suffers from their lack of skills. She is the one who finally figured out what they did wrong, after two trips to the ER. I called the head office to make a complaint. If I had money, I would press charges.

I go to the Memorial location to see Laurie Reed the Beauty Manager for all my skin and makeup needs. She helps me with everything- even assisted with mine my daughters makeup needs for her wedding. She is fantastic empathetic and extremely knowledgeable of the products. Honestly I look forward to seeing her when I need help! Shoppers - you are so lucky to have such an amazing professional on your team.

Went to the cosmetics department, couldn't find what i was looking for. I then walked up to the counter, the boomer was having chatter with a customer. She then asked me "hi, can i help you?" i asked her what i was looking for. By this time the person she was talking with (i assume it was here friend) had started walking away, instead of answering my question, she decided to turn around & have a few more words. I thought it was rude & inconsiderate since i did not interrupt their 'conversation'.

The black haired lady -Diane- that works the postal office currently needs to brush up on her customer service skills. Stood in line for 10+ mins just to be turned away to pick up a parcel that I got notice that if it isn’t picked up in 10 days it’s being shipped back, she didn’t even try to scan the barcode I had on my phone. She just seems like she doesn’t take the time to accommodate at all. Also she turned another person away because their ID wasn’t good enough for what they were picking up they were waiting way longer than myself. Seriously needs more training in my opinion. Been going to this post office for almost two years now haven’t had any issues prior to this lady working the postal service.

I was shorted my adderall I use to study, and when I returned and explained to Amanda what happened she turned hostile, repeatedly said I was wrong and refused to give me the couple that were missing, really disappointed how she handled it and how my doctor had to step in. She told me she also personally double counted but she wasn’t there when I got them filled. Lol I also informed my doctor what happened and now my whole family goes to grand view. If you decide to go here count your medication before you leave!!
