I e-mailed them to inquire about something, and everything happened so fast. They responded within a day from the e-mail, and after approving everything on my end, they had the furniture delivered the following day. My daughter loves her bedroom set... it was hard to get her out of her room. I like how speedy everything was.

We went in looking for bedroom furniture for my daughter, and another time we needed new living room furniture. My son wanted a black couch ensemble. We looked at the Brick, Leon's, Reid's, and then went to the Furniture Warehouse.My daughter got her bedroom outfit for Christmas. It was a new bed, frame, headboard, nightstand, dresser with mirror, and an armoire. She loved it, and when she moved out as an adult, she took it with her except for the nightstand. I still have the nightstand. She's 35+. She got it when she was 8.The living room furniture was a black couch, loveseat, armchair, 2 lamps, 2 end tables, and a coffee table. For the price, I was expecting this furniture to not last as long as something from a store like Reid's Furniture. I'm comparing Reid's because we had previously purchased living room furniture, some dining room furniture, and laundry appliances from them in the early 80s. I liked the items from Reid's, but we still have a nightstand, coffee table, the end tables, the lamps (the lampshades are no longer on the lamps), and the couch from the Surplus Furniturestore, and we bought those approximately 18 years ago......The prices are reasonable. The quality of the furniture is pretty good. Better than IKEA in my opinion..... They have a wide selection.My girlfriend came over to see our new living room furniture and loved it so much she went home and took her husband shopping. Lol, they bought 2 couches and a love seat in the same black brushed microsuede. So I do and have recommended that people who are shopping for some furniture to check out the Surplus Furniture Warehouse.

The products here are more often than not horribly handled on shipping/receiving resulting in damaged or defective products in some shape or form. This includes (but isn't limited to): Mattresses, Boxsprings, Sofas, Loveseats, and Bed Sets. No inspections are conducted on products coming into the store, and all responsibility gets passed off to the customers.When you bring damaged products up with the staff at the store, they will more than likely try to bribe you to keep the damaged furniture or dismiss your problem entirely. The store has no intention of repairing anything. Instead they will tell you to buy the parts for repair yourself so they can "credit" you on them. If you bring damaged products back to the store, they WILL re-sell them to some other victim without telling them how the store got it, which in itself is a health concern.As for advertising, I DARE you to ask for their flyers they get sent into their store. They won't give you ANY! The prices and captions are riddled with bait and switch tactics, and frankly I'm surprised they haven't been given legal problems because of it. In fact, their training program specifically tries to teach their staff to lie to customers about that information.This store does not deserve your business, and even if you think you're saving money in the short-run, the cheap furniture will more likely than not break within the first few months of use. No refunds/returns if you don't buy their warranty products, which in themselves cost the same difference you would've paid on better furniture elsewhere.

SURPLUS furniture five stars!!!I was buying furniture at the ‘other’ stores for years. I should have checked out surplus. IIt’s my loss, my misfortune, my mistake to have bought elsewhere in the past. I ya e now seen the light.Went to surplus on a whim and before I left I had furnished every room in our new home. For the same price as it would have cost us to furnish a single living room at the bigiger box stores. And in many cases the product is literally the exact same brand, make, and model I was shopping for elsewhere at double the price. I’ve had nightmares dealing with The Brick, but Justin and his team were fun to deal with. Hilarious, in fact. Good deals. Good people.

Get your mattress from anywhere else. I swear I received a different mattress from the one I tried in store. This mattress isn’t soft at all.. Mattress was warped being slammed thru my doorway and is continually making my back more sore because of so..and if you removed the mattress from packaging (like most would) and notice the issue the next day, you won’t be refunded or credited. Go to the brick or literally any other store. Horrible, horrible experience. $600 down the drain. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience with this store, it’s employees, and delivery folks! They knew all the options that could work for what I wanted and helped when my original selection didn’t fit through the awkward entry way. Fantastic service, very friendly, fair prices. Definitely will be going back for more furniture in the future.

Price is good, delivery is horrible. We purchased a bed and told them to deliver it 7 days from purchase then on the day of delivery told us they would deliver between 4pm and 7pm but didn’t deliver on time. When we called the delivery company they said, “we will be there shortly”; waited some more time then called furniture surplus and they told us, “we are running late but it will get delivered today”. We asked them for a ballpark time so we can update our plans and they said, “well when the truck gets back here we will send it out within 20 minutes”, I wanted to ask when the truck will get back but I was just tired and frustrated with waiting almost 4 hours for a delivery I arranged a week ago..Surplus store; quick to take your money but terrible at actually delivering your purchase..Whatever; I give up…
