“A nice little market with local artisans and businesses. I found some gifts for my girlfriend with the Roots Centennial vendors. They were very welcoming and kind. Also, the kitchen lady was serving stew to all the vendors for lunch. I walked up to her counter to try to order one, but she told me it was only for the vendors. I said it looked and smelled tasty, and she gave me a bowl. She did her good deed, and I felt like a nicely welcomed tourist from Ottawa.”
“Overall, this is a pretty good thrift store. However, the prices are starting to get ridiculously high. I needed a plain blazer for a costume and the cheapest one was a plain black one with bleach staining around the buttons of the sleeve, for $17 plus tax. Seems a bit high for clothing with visible damage..”
