Foodland Tobermory is an essential grocery store located just a short drive outside of town, nearer to the camp grounds and hotels. It is in a fantastic, much larger and nicer new building with a huge location, a very large store and parking lot, and plenty of parking. The store is well kept and well stocked, offering absolutely everything needed for a camping trip, from fresh groceries, produce, meats and vegetables, to beach toys and towels. It has lots of choice, a wide selection of products, and a delicious deli department for those who do not feel like cooking. Prices are in line with normal grocery store prices, around the normal range with no price gouging, though they are noted as expensive at the moment and higher than normal. As the other grocery store is 30 minutes away, the choice to shop here is easy. The staff are very nice, friendly, and helpful, offering a wonderful customer service experience and a community feel. While there can be minor communication issues between departments, it remains a great location where visitors happily return more than once during their stay.
