Nobody seemed to come here to enjoy the music. Most woman were simply waiting for someone to approach them, and many of the men were lacking in class. It was hard to enjoy the vibes.
Also, I was expecting more exciting events like amazing dancer, great music, and enthusiastic servers. However, everyone looked tired of their jobs, which ruined the experience for me
I won’t visit this club again, and can’t recommend it.

I would not recommend visiting 44. During my recent visit with friends, we encountered unprofessional behavior from one of the staff members. A bottle server unexpectedly pushed us aside with soo much force and didn’t even care to apologize. The overall atmosphere was unfriendly, and the staff’s attitude was disappointing. As someone visiting from out of the province this experience was far from welcoming. This place should come with a warning label lol

Worst clubbing experience I had. The bouncers were rude and took our weed and lighters from us upon entry. We were told we could collect them on our way out but when we asked for it on our way out they refused. Weirdest rule I’ve seen at any club and despite this not being a norm, there was no mention of any rule like this(which would’ve made it valid as they are a private venue). Will never visit again and will recommend the same to others. Your money is just as good at other great clubs nearby so avoid wasting your money on this poorly managed club.
Also 44 please don’t leave your generic AI reply on this, it just shows how much the management doesn’t care.

This place was an overpriced nightmare last night. Paid cover despite having guest list, forced to also pay for coat check even tho it was freezing inside and then the audacity to charge almost $100 for 4 shots. The interior is nice and the staff member in the ladies bathroom is incredible. Literally everything else about this place is garbage. Security officials and bartenders were rude. Music was acceptable. We paid a lot and left within the hour. Literally went to a place down the street 2 minute walk and enjoyed that significantly more.

This club was a complete rip off last night. They charged $20 for cover despite us being on the guestlist to let us into an empty club. Coat check was mandatory at $4 but it was freezing inside. The drinks are priced ridiculously and the bartender had a terrible attitude. Getting a glass of water from her was a pain even though there was no lineup or crowd. Music is literally the only barely redeemable part of this place. Even the security officials pat you down very invasively, with no warning. It felt like being groped. Would NOT recommend.

WORST CLUB EVER!!
I went there on a Sunday night Nov 10, 2024. Rainy night. The line was held up for no reason but I’m thinking it must be busy. First security “Empty your pockets” cool. Go downstairs to go through a metal detector terminal then get get aggressively searched in private parts. Took my lighter as I was told no smoking in the club but I can’t go out for a smoke. Club was empty when I got downstairs. Comes to find out everyone in booths was smoking, so I ask someone for a lighter they said I have to ask the manager if I want to smoke. What? Plus $40 entry fee & $20 drinks. Only the entry fee girl inside & the Rasta security guard were friendly. This is only review I have ever written in my life. Over hyped club. Took so long to get in on a slow night so I can’t imagine a Saturday night. Staff need to work on their service from the entry point.

Nice club with music and vibes but long queues and it takes 2 hours to even guestlist or pay. Fully scammed bouncer and entry gate people. The guestlist is a garbage club open at 11 am and free entry up to 11.30 am only their favourite can go in so eventually we need to pay for tickets with a line. But after all it is worth it from the inside. One time only.

I recently visited 44 and had a fantastic experience with the bouncers, Shakira and Ali. they were incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful throughout my visit. their welcoming attitude made my night even more enjoyable. i highly recommend this club, thanks to the amazing staff like Shakira and Ali!!

I came to 44 for the first time this Saturday night for my friends birthday and was amazed by how courteous and professional the staff was. Special thanks to Shaquira , Ali and Z for making our experience so seamless. Highly recommend anyone on King St to check this place out!
