I am a regular customer at this store, went in to purchase a packet of rolling papers. The guy assisting me, Jigar, mentioned he wasnt sure if they had the ones I wanted. I asked him if he could check it - he said he needs to see my ID first.
I asked - so even if its not in stock you are going to check my ID? He is like yes - giving me a very bad body language. This made me uncomfortable because I don’t see why I should share my details if they dont know the item is in stock or not.
After I provided my ID (I am 10 years above the legal age) - Jigar goes up to the counter behind him and says “so what you want?” - to which I responded, agitated at this point, “See, you don’t even know what I wanted”. He stops everything, turns around and says “Do you need a problem?”
I said “excuse me?” And he repeats the same. I asked him what he means by I “need” a problem. To which he responds “Do you want a problem” - comes back to the cash counter without giving me the product I wanted.
Now I lose it and tell them I am shocked at the way I am being treated, asked for manager, they refused to share any info - and 2 other employees try to calm me down by saying he has bad English. While this guy still didnt help me with what I wanted.
Lastly another guy helps me and tries to apologize for him - but I believe these kind of behaviors shouldnt go unreported. This employee, Jigar - who joined 4 months ago in the store - stood there and confidently asked me if I want a problem, which came off as a threat to me, while his coworkers tried to null it down. Absolutely horrible - not sure how you keep such employees without supervision?

I made a purchase at the 7-11 at Yonge and Eglinton in the late afternoon of Oct 12. When I returned home hours later, shortly after midnight, I found out that my wallet was not inside my bag. I did a thorough search inside my car and while I was still anxiously figuring out where I might have dropped/lost my wallet, the conceirge of my condo building called and said someone from 7-11 with my wallet was downstairs and wanted to meet me in person. It was a happy ending. I had the wallet back with everything inside: my driver's licnece, OHIP card, credit cards and money.
I am so gratefule to your staff who took all the troubles to come and return the wallet to me in person! He must have done this after his shift. His kindness and consideration has saved my day!
I was too excited and forgot to ask for his name at that moment, but please help me say a big THANK YOU to him. His kindness will be remembered!
While I am very lucky to have my wallet back, you are also lucky to have such an honest and considerate person working in your store !

Worst customer service- 1 star- checkout guy is looking straight at me while I pay, while speaking loudly in another language to someone in the back. I was confused and said ‘I’m sorry, what did you say?’ He looked straight at me for like 10 seconds, fully ignored what I said and said ‘NEXT!’ straight to my face…LOL smh- great job training 7/11!

Ordered a Jamaican Patties using Uber. They've delivered one, while I paid for two and inside it was absolutely frozen. Not the first time they mess up so bad, I visit this location more than 4 times a week and have to say that employees are not treating anything or anyone with respect. You see one guy stocking shelves and the other one assembling Uber orders? Means you're not welcome here and paying for whatever you're buying will be impossible in the next 10 minutes. They will just ignore you to the best of their ability even when explicitly asked for assistance.

These scam artists always have items missing when you order stuff with them, and they don't do refunds. Absolute frauds.

The boys you guys have at cash are unkind and don’t greet customers. 7/11 should hire people who have manners

7/11? More like 0/11. I went to this location earlier today because of the current slurpee point streak and tetris collaboration giveaway, excited to earn 300 extra points, and be entered to win a slurpee gaming device. When I got to the store, I was met with extreme amounts of disappointment. There were no slurpee straws left at only 2:00 in the afternoon, the flavours were runny, and the cashier left halfway during our transaction to get a bag for a different customer which I found a bit rude. I have no problem waiting a few extra minutes for you to finish with one customer before moving on to the next, and would much rather wait than be abandoned midway through trying to pay. When he came back, I was holding my phone with my barcode open in one hand, and cash to pay in the other. He took the money and gave me my change, completely ignoring the app open right in front of him. I politely asked him to scan the code, even though he would have had to be blind to not have seen it already, and he replied saying that I had already paid, so the transaction was over and I couldn’t get my points, or be entered to win the tetris game. Not only was it annoying that he saw the app and hadn’t thought to scan it or mention I couldn’t scan it after paying, but it was frustrating because that was the whole reason I wanted a slurpee, and I was able to scan my barcode less than a month ago at the same location. In a place where you are meant to enjoy all the colourful and unique flavours offered by 7 eleven’s iconic slurpee station, all that I left with was a runny slurpee, and the lingering aftertaste of sadness and disappointment.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I tapped my debit card and it said it was declined. Later on, I saw that I was charged for $21. I went to my bank and they gave me a proof of charge, I went back to them and they said they’d return it and they never did. This place needs to be checked and reported.

A vulgar , rude employee not only verbally abused and harassed by shouting, but also threatened the customer to shoot by pointing his finger. No customer service at all. The location is filthy?
