“Pleasant antiques and whatnot shop. Nice people. Selection of lab glassware is interesting. I've bought a map drawer and various parts (cabinet handles, etc) plus the occasional Life magazine, etc. Don't skip the basement!”
“I found this cool little antique shop while exploring the city and was pleased to discover they make custom furniture too! Their items are made to order, very custom and extremely well priced! I ordered a bookshelf and am now designing matching end tables with their help. A great place in the city for unique and affordable pieces for your home!”
“The Handwork Department is an awesome vintage shop. I saw a variety of items from; Typewriters, Cameras, Records, and Coins. From all different times from; the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70, 80s, and even from the late 1890s!
They also have items from all over the world, from The United Kingdom, to Chile, this place really has almost anything vintage, I highly recommend.”
“Pete was amazing and helpful. The store was full of unique 1 of a kind lights. I would highly recommend booking an appointment. If you are looking for a unique light fixture”
“Thrilled with my antique rug cleaning! Pick-up/drop-off was seamless, consultation for new underlay was helpful, and the price was fantastic. Rugs look vibrant and fresh again. Highly recommend!”

“One of the best antique stores in Toronto. I was looking for an antique gold frame and Victoria had one that exceeded my expectations! My mom and I always find the most beautiful vintage pieces here and ALWAYS have the most amazing experience with Victoria! She goes out of her way for you - she’s a real superstar!”
“Such a cool vintage and antique store! It has a large range of items, including clothing of a great range of sizes and styles, furniture, decor and more. The staff are very nice and genuinely interested in the pieces too.”
“Great antique store with many beautiful treasures! I saw the comment of how the older gentleman locked the door behind the customer… that is very normal, especially in European countries ( which he is from) for safety reasons for himself from outsiders. We were buzzed in and buzzed out. He can’t just let people roam inside a store filled with so many valuable items!”

“I sold my dining set to Guff and they were fantastic. Excellent customer service, pick up when they said they would be here, friendly delivery men, careful and respectful handling. I would highly recommend them.”
“Ransack is the best destination in town for vintage items and collectibles. The owner, Jesse, has a talent for finding this stuff, and I appreciate how welcome he makes you feel as you peruse through all of it.You'll more than likely end up picking up at least one item when visiting - and be sure to check the bin of vintage pins to look for some treasure.”
“This is truly a wonderful store! The best place in the city to find the perfect gift all year round. ALL of the staff are wonderful but Vi in particular will always give you the best shopping experience with his GREAT sense of humor !”
“We had a kitchen cabinet panel that needed to match the rest of the cabinetry. Gregory gave me a quote to match the colour and spray the panel. I could not believe how much time he spent on what must have been his smallest job. He did so many iterations to make sure the match was perfect and insisted on honouring the original quote. Based on this and seeing all the beautiful furniture he had restored, we will return for additional work - for both wood and upholstered furniture. Thank you Gregory. It is clear you love what you do.”
