If you are planning on visiting this store you better be prepared to move in and bring your own equipment. Took more than 3 hours to buy a phone and do a trade in. Took more than 1 hour to just buy the phone, then took around an hour to start the set up process. At this point the new phone was running out of battery and we had asked for a charger since the battery pack that we had brought was running out of juice, “we don’t have a lightning cable right now”. We are sitting in an Apple Store…. What do you mean you don’t have any lightning cables available? Do better. People are dropping thousands of dollar each, at least make the process less painful by having a decent turn around time.

I recently experienced a significant issue at the Apple Store, which has left me quite dissatisfied. Despite paying a substantial amount for their premium products, I encountered an unexpected hurdle during the pickup process.The store did not accept my international passport as a valid form of identification. It’s perplexing and frustrating that the same passport would be sufficient for substantial financial transactions like securing a loan, but not for picking up Apple devices that I had already paid for.This policy seems inconsistent and unnecessarily restrictive, impacting my overall experience negatively.

I recently had issues with my Apple Watch.Both Apple Care, and Apple Support were a waste of time, and frustrating in the extreme.I made an appointment with the Genius Bar at Fairview Mall.Ida helped me.She not only fixed the problem , but improved the set up.Ida was fantastic !Congratulations to Apple for having Ida on the team !

Cadillac Fairview Mall is one of my favourite in the greater Toronto area. It is just the right size not too big like Square One and not too small like Bayview Village. It is well laid out and pleasant to walk in and shop in. Also, it has a T&T and an Apple Store. What more could one want?

Purchased an Apple Watch Series 3 in December 2020.2.5 years later after purchase, the adhesive of the display unglued on its own due to a manufacturing defect. This Apple Watch has never been inside water/shower. It unglued while I was walking, in the middle of street. I approached Kevin, the store manager, and Kevin has refused to replace this product or offer store credit.I’m very disappointed in the quality of this Apple product. Is has functioned 5 years less than its expected lifetime.

The worst service I've ever received. I wanted to buy an iPhone 15 Pro Max from Apple. The Apple employees told me they didn't have the Pro Max in stock and suggested I buy the 15 Pro, assuring me that I could exchange it within two weeks. I went to the store three times within two weeks, and each time, they informed me that they didn't have the 15 Pro Max in the store and advised me to make the exchange online. However, I couldn't place an order for the 15 Pro Max online, so I'm stuck with a phone I didn't initially want.Additionally, my current iPhone 15 Pro has a camera issue, and although it's under warranty, they suggested repairing it rather than replacing it. They also mentioned that if I purchase Apple Care+, I could get a replacement. Now, I've been struggling for two hours to get a new phone. As a student, my credit card limit is not high, and only credit cards are accepted. I can't use my debit card. To purchase the new phone, I need to make another payment to Apple so they can send it to my address. The Apple representative I spoke to is asking for my debit card number. This is the most mediocre and low-quality service I've ever experienced...

I must say, the staff there exceeded my expectations. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my entire visit. Unlike some other stores in the area, the Apple store was clean and well-organized, creating a pleasant shopping experience.What stood out to me the most was that the staff didn't seem tired or overwhelmed, even though the store was quite busy. They were attentive and patient, taking the time to address all my questions and concerns. It's clear that they prioritize customer satisfaction.

Apple needs to improve their hiring standards and professionalism, stupid B pick-up receptionist. The stupid ones will just repeat and arrogantly refuse like a robot. When I asked my friend to help pick up the goods, I couldn't be there due to my own reasons, and told her that I could submit all the documents for her to see. She would only say that she needed her own ID to participate, and then walked away arrogantly. When I asked my friend to find another W service person, she told me that I could change the recipient information online and add my friend’s name without the inconvenience of me being present in person. Finally, I followed her advice and changed the information online and completed it. Pick up the goods. This is a huge difference, not a difference in skin color, but a difference in service standards. Two different experiences in the same store. If you are unhappy, your attitude can be less enthusiastic, and you can take time off to go home and adjust your mood. But your stupidity and unprofessionalism will cause trouble for others. It is recommended to go directly to the W salesperson when entering the store. They are more professional and patient.

Waiting for service at Genius Bar is like waiting at a doctor’s clinic for a long time even if you have an appointment. When we sign up for an appointment, you already have an idea of what the issue is. You should then allot time accordingly. 10 min wait is fine, 30 minutes is just wrong. It could be more. I just left.

I had a disappointing customer service experience recently. I waited for the first 10 minutes without any assistance, and when I approached two assistants who were chatting, they answered couple of questions before leaving me waiting for more help. I then tried to ask another assistant, but they were already occupied. During this time, another assistant approached but refused to help, citing her lunch break (even though it was 5 pm). She continued chatting with colleagues, leaving my questions unanswered. Surprisingly, it wasn't even a busy day. I left without getting the assistance I needed."

Typical Apple store, located in Fairview Mall, crowded with lots of shoppers, demo and info session running, staff all busy with customers. We had to wait awhile for assistance but the staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and patient. Had to make appointment to return for service ? and waited more again. At least possible was resolved after numerous hours...not ideal. Considering the prices, customers should get speedier service, especially for minor upgrades and such.

I recently visited the Apple Fairview Genius Bar to address a problem I was having with certain keys on my laptop. I was fortunate enough to have Natalie, a skilled technician, assist me with the issue. Her expertise and swift action were truly impressive. She tackled the problem right away and efficiently resolved it, leaving me highly satisfied with the service.Natalie's professionalism and dedication to resolving my laptop issue on the spot exceeded my expectations. The entire experience at the Genius Bar was seamless and hassle-free, thanks to her assistance. I'm grateful for the excellent customer service provided by Natalie and the Apple Fairview team.Thank you, Natalie, and the entire Genius Bar team, for a job well done!

Very poor customer service. I went to pickup a MacBook pro for my son and was looking at the one I wanted for over 15 to 20 mins and non of the sales team members offered any help. I left the store very disappointed and will pick this up elsewhere.
