I had a horrible experience shopping here, clearly they know people will shop apple products regardless so the service is absolutely horrible. I had to wait 30 minutes to purchase an ipad and the iphone pickup experience was a nightmare. Staff are rude and not helpful, everyones trying to delegate tasks to others and the ratio of staff to customers is ridiculous. The person helping me was extremely rude and unhelpful, will definitely not return to this location, save yourself time and visit another apple location. Clearly the service they provide has diminished over the past few years in terms of quality.

Just another Apple Store. It’s got everything you want. Spacious and always busy. Parking close by can be a pain as it’s very busy. If you have the time, make use of the free Yorkdale basement parking and walk to the store.

I went to buy an iMac as a gift for my son. It is spacious, sophisticated and crowded. There seemed to be a shortage of staff compared to customers. Many people waited for staff to consult. I did too. If there was a screen where you could enter the waiting list for consultation, the waiting order would be accurate and good. Each part had a designated number of employees. Someone took my turn so I had to wait a long time. However, when I finally met and spoke with the staff member, she was very professional and helpful. It took over 30 minutes to wait, but it took 5 minutes to pay and get the iMac. Once you meet the person in charge, it doesn't take long. Thanks to her, my son was able to bring home his iMac today. I wish there were more sales staff.

We we're told we had been signed in and to take a seat and wait for a worker. After 15 minutes of waiting and nobody showing up, I had to ask a worker what was going on? The person who signed me in had actually canceled out appointment and did not even check up once. They had to re-check us in and made us wait another 20 minutes for someone to speak to us.

I was absolutely disgusted by an apple employees behaviour today. Today my dad went into the store to get a replacement beats headphones since we were covered by apple care but the rude employee said my dad is not allowed to pickup my headphones. When my dad mentioned he is the one who paid for them meaning he is the legal owner, the employee dismissed him saying no you need to check the email we sent your son on august 7 and then went off to help another customer. However, it is August 5 so my dad asked how is it possible to send a email in the future. The employee said just call the number on the email. I then called from home to the apple higher ups complaining of the despicable behaviour in which the issue was resolved. Nevertheless, that employee who handled our case must be investigated/retrained/fired. As an apple employee, your job is not less than the bare minimum effort. You are required to help a customers issues finding a solution. Not simply dismissing us. Please investigate this matter prudently.

Something has fundamentally broken at this Apple Store location with the quality of customer service, level of professionalism, and knowledgeability of the Genius Bar staff. What is most concerning is that one two separate occasions for repair issues under warranty, staff have tried to mislead me into their diagnostics results and intact then attempt to up-charge for repairs that were not needed or they push you to purchase a new phone.As a customer who’s experienced many different stores across the world, and fealty with various staff across departments,It is very unfortunately to have such a stand out negative store. I cannot and in fact highly do not recommend this Apple location to any customers.

Came to buy a laptop. Waited for 45 min in need of advise. I literally just had two questions to ask but apparently nobody there works in sales. LOL. Thanks anyway, will do my research on YouTube and buy one in BestBuy next door.

I had an amazing experience at this store. My laptop broke down and I needed help transferring data to external hard drive and also doing the repairs. The team was very helpful and super friendly. I got my issue fixed and received so much help with the data transfer. I would like to express special thanks to Justin, Karan and Trey.

In and out in less than 5 min, the service here was faster than I expected it, I picked up a product and also bought a headphones and I couldn’t believe how quickly I did everything.

Store was not busy. We came and no one came to help us or asked any questions. We simply wanted to purchase a MacBook and be on our way. We asked for someone to cash us out. But we still had to wait 30 minutes with three “managers” standing and talking amongst themselves on their private matters. We tried to get their attention several times but was ignored. A group that came after us managed to get a sales person helping them way before us. This is by far the worst shopping experience at Apple. Shameful at Yorkdale.

Ordered an Apple watch online for my wife's birthday via web orders, paid $13 for the same day delivery. The delivery was cancelled post the selected slot without any attempt made to contact me. Now the refund receipt has been emailed without the delivery charge. Strongly not recommended for web orders. Don't know about physical store but if the customer service is the same as for online orders, I would not bank on them.

Today I purchased a1200$ Apple Watch from the Yorkdale store. The person in set up took my phone to charge it, but neglected to replace the charger when he packed it up for me to leave - despite my asking if the charger was in place. I returned home ( after a 1.5 hour drive in traffic) only to discover that the charger was missing! I called the store but was only provided with options that involved considerable time and effort on my part to rectify a problem of the store’s making! In short, the store was prepared to do NOTHING to get a charger to me in a reasonable way. I bought a watch expecting to be able to use it … not wait for four or five days for it to be delivered, not to go to a third party retailer to buy a charger and the return it once my device was sent to me… and not to drive, yet again to spend 3 hours battling traffic to retrieve the item the store neglected to provide! In short, Apple Yorkdale was to invest no time or effort to address a problem of their making! I asked that the charger be couriered to me that afternoon, but I was flatly told that would not be done. Regretfully, I will return to Yorkdale, but to return the watch. I cannot in good conscience support this retailer.

I recently had an outstanding experience with manager Marcello at Apple Yorkdale. Marcello went above and beyond to address my problem; he was patient, empathic, and genuinely committed to finding a solution. Marcello provided a real solution and took an innovative approach to resolve my concerns instead of giving me cookie-cutter responses. I commend Marcello for his exceptional customer service; if the team is under his leadership, you can expect solution-orientated, creative, and honest resolutions for any of your concerns. Without Marcello's assistance, it is highly improbable that my issue would have ever been resolved. Finding managers like him is a rarity; singlehandedly reinstalling my confidence in Apple products and their ability to deliver superior customer service experiences.
