“I love everything about Petroff Gallery. The art, the staff, the owner! Whenever I need gifts or just would love a piece of art I always head for Petroff. Their knowledge, good taste, paintings and special art makes it so easy to choose the perfect item. I would not hesitate to recommend this special store.”
“I can’t believe I’ve never posted how much I love Joey and Leo and all their gorgeous art… how open hearted, warm, kind they both are and how I never miss a visit when I’m in Kensington Market. May they forever thrive ?”
“Visiting Latitude 44 is a great experience.
I was recommended by a close friend who’s a long time customer & I can see why.
The owners, sisters Janet & Mary Ann, are experts & really care about your artwork. They go the extra mile to help find the best frame to complement your piece, from a large selection. There are on-going art exhibits and many beautiful & original items, from unique greeting cards to jewellery & much more. They’ve created a warm & welcoming gallery with exemplary customer service. I’ll return for all my framing needs or to look for the perfect gift.
It’s a pleasure to shop there.”
“Of course I'm biased - I'm in the current group show!Seriously though, I would have rated the Plumb this highly before I had an inkling I'd ever show there. It's an artist collective in a modest space that seems interested in group shows that are diverse & intergenerational - mixing emerging & established artists. They've adapted a basement space well and work is shown to full advantage. It's great to see that in spite of Toronto's high rents, galleries like the Plumb, Pumice Raft, Towards, & Franz Kaka are finding ways to bring new artists to the fore.”

“Underrated free art gallery by the harbourfront - the exhibit by Terence Gower on American diplomatic architecture was particularly interesting, well-researched and well put together. The one by June Clark was great as well. The staff at the front desk check you in and you're then free to walk around. The exhibits I mentioned are temporary but it's worth a visit no matter what's on.”
“It is an amazing environment, and always a pleasure to stop by and see the new exhibits. Definitely stop by if you are an art lover/want to discover Toronto/Canadian based artists.”
“We discovered Canvas Gallery after a family member highly recommended them. The selection is so beautiful and we love that it is all original Canadian art. We purchased an Andreychuk and everyone who assisted in the process was so lovely and beyond helpful. We cannot wait to fill more of our walls with pieces from here for years to come. Thank you!!”
“Loch Gallery in Toronto's Yorkville neighborhood is a true art lover's paradise. The gallery's collection is a mesmerizing blend of contemporary and traditional art, showcasing a wide range of styles and mediums. The elegant space and expertly curated exhibitions make each visit a visual delight. Whether you're a seasoned art enthusiast or just looking to be inspired, Loch Gallery is a must-visit destination. It's a gem in the heart of Yorkville, where creativity and beauty meet.”
“We have bought unique pieces of art from Art Interiors for the past 16 years and counting ... this is a friendly accessible gallery with a diverse collection of Canadian artists. We are grateful for the daily JOY we get from these works!”
“Great service from a true connoisseur of Inuit art. Very well recommended based on what I was looking for. Personalized service and I found the part at the right price. Thank you Jacques, it’s reassuring to be able to buy pieces of art without worry.”
“I live outside of Toronto, so I usually don’t come into the city unless it’s purposeful. But I had a meeting this morning, and my friend recommended I spend the day sightseeing. Since I take the train at Union, they recommended I check this place out, and I’m happy I did. I bought couple postcards, gotta help remind the City of Toronto that art is a good thing and should be financially supported. The only reason this is four stars and not five is that I wish there was more information about the two artists on exhibit. The art itself was so beautiful, and I wish I knew more about who the artists were and what was going through their heads when they made them. Unfortunately, I didn’t see a bio of either of them anywhere, nor any artist’s statements. Maybe they were there and I just didn’t see them? Regardless, this was a lovely way to spent my afternoon, and I’m happy I know about this place now.”
“This gallery shop looks awesome. I love the variations of painting and artworks here. I don't pass by this area without stopping and enjoying the beautiful paintings ever from the glass window. Lots of stores around. Parking is on the side streets.”
“This was a really established and beautiful art outlet/shoppe. You could definitely, without an ounce of doubt, find or create (with their representatives help) the exact piece you desire, for your space.”
“Great collection of Inuit carvings and art. Free admission. A little hard to find among the tall, black towers, so you may have to ask for directions. The display tables could use a good dusting.”
“Thank you so much for our second beautiful piece of art! We bought our first piece five years ago and have loved it ever since. We recently decided that we wanted a new piece for a specific space in our house, and so we met with Peter to talk about what he might create for us. We just received the piece, and it has exceeded our expectations in every way. It truly completes the space and adds wonderful colour and personality to our home. Peter and Seraphina are such a pleasure to deal with and their energy and passion are truly inspiring!”
“What great peace of mind it is to drop off artwork to Ernesto knowing he will handle it, and labour over your scans like it was his own artwork. In fact, carefully scanning and correcting with an eye for detail, colour, temperature, saturation certainly requires the mindset and skillset of an artist , which Ernesto certainly has and is.For archiving your precious collection to highest standard, you could do no better than entrusting your work to QSQ.5 stars well earned.Mark Stuart Linton”
