An interesting store with a lot of different offerings from decor, to books to cooking utensils… The perfect place to find unique gifts or something eclectic. Lots of staff available to assist and we were greeted immediately upon entry. A well merchandised space that begs you to explore and wander slowly to see all it has to offer.

Nice store to look at but it was really rude to not let us in with our coffee! It’s winter everyone is walking with a warm drink but I guess they don’t care about loosing business!! Sad for them

Cute little shop with cute shopping bags too! At this time of the year, there were so many Christmas decoration related items. My girls got some cute ornaments for our Christmas tree! It's a great reminder of our trip to Canada. :)

Bergo is a designer, utensils and toys store with lots of charm and details. The store is located within the distillery premises and has an entrance from inside the museum gallery and an entrance from the street in front of the brewery. The store is very spacious and has no barriers at the entrances, allowing customers in wheelchairs and those with low mobility to enter, however, as it has many aisles with items for sale, movement is difficult, in addition to the toy area where it is necessary to climb stairs. The store has decoration utensils, toys, stuffed animals, items to teach children about camping and stationery. Some products are very affordable. It's very worth knowing.

What happened??? Borderline disgraceful! Especially for the great products they carry! Dirty, dusty & cluttered!!! Merch boxes on the floor on a Saturday... Really? The dust was unbelievable... $1000 decanter coated like a yard sale item. And the staff.. am I at a used car dealership? Lurking is the best way to describe it. 3 minutes, 3 sq. ft, 3 approaches. One of which was literally the question "would I like to know the price" .. my response " thank you, I can read" . This store used to be a highlight of visiting the distillery. Please, let's have a staff meeting and restore civility!

I recently visited Bergo designs and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. A member of our group accidentally touched a globe that was displayed, causing it to fall. Thankfully, no damage occurred to the globe. However, the manager insisted that we pay an exorbitant price for it, despite the lack of any harm. What was even more disheartening was the manager's attitude towards us. Instead of addressing the situation calmly, they treated us disrespectfully and loudly asked us to leave. When I attempted to share my perspective on the matter, they rudely shut down any opportunity for dialogue. In my opinion, if an item is held in such high regard, it should be displayed in a secure manner to avoid accidents and misunderstandings. Treating customers with respect and allowing for open communication is essential for maintaining a positive shopping experience. Such rude and disrespectful dialogue towards us cannot be justified.I hope that future customers will be treated more courteously and that the shop considers better ways to handle such situations in the future.

Lovely, unique stuff but super expensive. Some items you cannot find everywhere. But some similar ones are easily available in Amazon.

Bought 8 placemats at $30. One of which got some syrup on it and will not come off. During covid they were closed to public so we called in and no return Call. Then when everything lifted, we went in person to discuss and got no help whatsoever from staff. Only suggestions on how to fix. All of which we tried to no avail. Why would this happen to one placemat they asked? Great question, we have no idea. All we know is that we already paid a steep price fe a placemat and now it cannot get cleaned. We left the store with a request for a manager to call us. It has been three months and not a single call has been received. We are very disappointed as we do enjoy the store, however, the lack of professionalism and the fact that they do not stand behind their product, or even volunteer to reach out to the manufacturer disappointed us. They weren't even interested in finding out what it could possibly be for us. I guess the store and relies on tourist to just come and go in and out of the city, but for those of us who live in the GTA in a little bit beyond, it becomes very difficult to buy products that we use as part of our home on a daily basis, and then we have no one to back it up for us. We treat all our mats the same so to have one not be cleanable there's something wrong with its manufacturing

Always nice to walk around, very unique pieces. I've been there on quiet days and busy ones. Some cute and affordable gift ideas, and some expensive and interesting pieces. You will have to ask if you need help. Reminds me of a modern version of Brookstone.
