I bought a Desktop Computer from HiTech Bay Inc- Tecnix, on Best Buy website Dec. 3rd 2024. Dell Optiplex 5040 High Performance Desktop,Intel Quad Core i5 6500, 32 BG Ram, New 1 TB SSD, Windows 10, Wifi, HDMI. Refurbished. After paying over $300.00 for the Computer, and $150.00 to have the HD cloned. The tech Geek tells me that in 10 months I won't be able to use this computer for my banking, because Banks then will only insure transactions made with Windows 11, and because Tecnix uses old parts in these Refurbished to sell them the chip in my computer is 8 years old and will not take Windows 11. So my Brand New $500.00 computer will be obsolete in 10 months. I have bought Refurbished from Best Buy before with no problems. It's Tecnix that are the SCAMMERS.

I want to say that I had a great experience today shopping for a laptop. I was served first by Ali of the Best Buy sales team and then had a more in depth discussion with Nicholas from the Intel support team. Both were knowledgeable and listened carefully to my needs and directed me to the most reasonable options for my needs. Both were very patient and took a long time to explain the different features and pricing of different brands. Significantly, they were honest and frank about what I needed and they certainly did not try to 'oversell' me. I was very impressed with their knowledge and practicality, and most importantly, their guidance and willingness to explain what i needed in simple terms.They made a shopping experience that I was somewhat dreading a happy one, and I came away feeling that I had been extremely well served. Ali and Nicholas are great resources and terrific ambassadors for Best Buy and Intel!

So we went looking for a lap top that has 16 Gigs of Ram, an i7 processor, and 1TB of storage at Best Buy and at first met Jeffrey the sales assistant. He helped us look around at the Black Friday sales, and for what we were looking for. Then we returned again and asked Harsharan for help. He helped us find the lap top we were looking for and was very patient answering all of our questions. So both sales persons helped us a lot and we found what we were looking for.

Very rude sales people. I went in to buy a charger wire for my phone and they tried persuading me to change my phone payment plan. I told them no three times and then they bullied me while walking out by making fun of my plan . Did not expect such attitude from the workers at Best Buy given that all in other locations I was treated with respect and valued as a customer. Really horrific experience!

I had a terrible experience at Best Buy today. The customer service was some of the worst I’ve encountered—employees seemed uninterested and kept passing tasks to one another instead of helping. I was simply trying to check out the PS5 Portal, but it wasn’t on display, and no one was willing to assist or answer my questions. Tyler at customer service was particularly rude, even to his colleagues, which really set a negative tone for the visit. Overall, the staff lacked basic courtesy and any enthusiasm to help customers. I definitely won’t be coming back after this experience.

if you’re looking for helpful or even remotely good customer service, you won’t find it here. unhelpful staff, save your time and shop online. you’ll probably be better helped there

Employees were very unfriendly and seemed highly irritated when asked simple questions any customer would have. Burmika and Devinsha were rude and did not have good customer service. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the level of customer service at this location.
