VERY DISAPPOINTING AND FRUSTRATING!!
I work in corporate events and have never had a supplier behave like Dylan James (owner / operator of Button Boy). More than 3 weeks in advance of a charity event, I contacted Dylan to produce some custom buttons. During the initial conversation, Dylan was hyped up and wanted to up-sell my request of buttons to include mugs, offering to send a sample mug - free of charge.
After providing my Credit Card information, communication with Dylan completely broke down.
When I was able to actually speak with him, he was confused, disoriented and almost incoherent. I was told a week prior to the event that I had to pick up the button order from a box on his front porch. Dylan refused to deliver them to a downtown location. This cost me $40. in cab fare. I was VERY disappointed to discover that Dylan had printed the WRONG image for the buttons. I contacted him immediately. This began a week of lies, justifications and excuses from Dylan - right up to the evening of the event ... and NO BUTTONS.
The only thing that could possibly explain Dylan's confusing and irrational behavior is that he's a practicing addict. I am still trying to get a refund.

I have not received a refunded from you and it is now 3 weeks past the event. I sent you a photo of the WRONG unused buttons AFTER the event when you wanted proof that I had not used them. I told you I would be happy to send the buttons back to you if you payed the shipping cost. The file I sent you clearly stated the image for printing the BUTTONS. I do not want a "discount on future orders" - I would not use or recommend your services.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. GO ELSEWHERE. I wish I had read through all the reviews. What began as a pleasant business with Dylan (I presume the owner) ended in a complete communication breakdown. I intentionally called ahead of the deadline and was reassured we had plenty of time. As we reached the deadline, there were no buttons, no communication, nothing. I understand that some circumstances result in a total breakdown of things (personal, family, etc.). But when you decide to run a business, you are responsible for your customers. If you want your business to be successful and earn your customer’s trust, you need to guarantee certain things, such as communication. Had I been told that they could not fulfill my order and apologized because of circumstances beyond their control, I would have been understanding. The way this whole thing went left me in utter disbelief and truly disappointed.

Very disappointing. I needed buttons made for an event. I called and explained the order (had a 1 week deadline), they said it would be fine and to email over and they would look at it. I never received a response. I chased up by email, text and phone. Finally spoke to someone who was very confusing and told me to send an urgent email and accounts would call for payment (I still hadn't had any confirmation that my order was possible or what it would cost). I sent the email as instructed, no response. No buttons. Too late to go to another company so we didn't have them for our event. I will definitely be looking for a different company next time.

Disappointing Experience!My interaction with this company left much to be desired. Initially, there was a severe breakdown in internal communication. Despite agreeing on a price and delivery date with TJ Parino, it became apparent that Dylan James, the individual responsible for the production, was unaware of the agreed-upon deadline. Had I not taken the initiative to reach out, it's doubtful they would have met the requested date.Upon receiving the buttons, a second issue arose. They charged my credit card twice: first for a significantly higher amount than what was initially agreed upon with TJ and outlined in the emailed quote, and then again for the correct amount. Despite numerous emails and calls over the span of four months, I have yet to receive a resolution. TJ promises assistance but redirects me to Dylan, who consistently requests the same information and assures me of validation without any follow-through.This lackluster experience highlights not only poor customer service but also significant flaws in internal communication within the company.

TJ and co are amazing! My order was fulfilled and shipped quickly and seamlessl. I had two versions of buttons made and each turned out high quality and exactly how I wanted. Our family and friends were so delighted to see the effort that was put into production. The follow up from the team to ensure my requests was fulfilled as requested was above and beyond what I expected. Thank you for you for everything button boy team ❤️

I ordered and paid for a product in December 2022 that they no longer offered. They agreed to send me a refund, and now, May 2023 with months of emailing back and forth to try to get my money back, I still don't have it. Dylan seems purposefully difficult and at this point I doubt I'm ever getting my money back despite my best efforts.Edit in reply: I did not leave my review on the wrong site - I didn't receive any product, and all my interactions have been with the buttonboy email (Dylan) so I'm in fact, leaving a poor review for him and the business he is contacting me through. So this is exactly where it should be and I warn people before they order from this business and have to deal with its owner. You know my order number, I've sent it to you many many times over the last few months. Also, I still have not received my refund, I consider my money stolen.

Excellent badges, fast production.Everything was made in time despite the rush order. Customer service is very good with communication and is very kind. The badges are high quality! I like how they came out so much! Highly recommended!

After placing an urgent order through their website, I just received an online confirmation without any details regarding the shipping date. I waited for 4 days and contacted them. They told me that your order is ready to pick up by tomorrow. I started to arrange with my final users/customers for their deliveries. Few hours later I received another email from this vendor "Christie St said that they are too busy for pickup tomorrow. I apologise.They can do Tuesday. Is this acceptable or should we cancel". I replied but letting them know that I already arranged with my customers and either they should stick to their promise or shipping to me as soon as my order gets ready at their own cost. The answer was short and irresponsible "Sorry I will have to cancel" and they did.So no sign of responsibility! I am going to tell my users/customers the reason that I am not able to deliver their goods. So if in the future you've received other people are giving you low rates please do not claim that they are fake.Hope this business learn commitment and responsibility in the future

Button Boy is the best and most reliable place in the city for button orders! We've worked with Dylan (Button Boy) twice and both have been positive experiences. Our latest order, was very last minute with a less than a 24-hour turnaround. While I don't suggest submitting last-minute orders, Dylan graciously prioritized our order and had our button pins ready by our deadline.Button Boy has great deals for amazing service.
