Needed a quick battery installed. Called ahead and with some talking, got a spot in short order. guys at the counter were very pleasant. The price was also right. Total happy!!!

In the summer, I shopped here for a few things and also used the automotive service. I won't return to this location. Some of the staff are unfriendly to persons who continue to need to mask. Being stared at by staff for an inordinate amount of time is uncomfortable and unpleasant. I can get my needs met elsewhere. One would think that staff would have some sensitivity to the needs of others, and my mask-wearing doesn't change the fact that I am a customer with money to spend. The CT near my home is much more friendly in this way, and some of the staff even continue to mask. I'll probably decide to visit them a bit more, or just give up on CT altogether. We'll see.

Poor inventory management: sold me items for pick up they didn't have. Poor customer service: refused to rectify the waste of time/disruption of plans.

I decided to leave the garage that has stored for many years my winter tires in the summer and the summer tires in the winter largely because the location is inconvenient but also because one person who worked there was unfriendly and insisted that I need to replace my winter tires during the second year that I had them after they had very little mileage. I took them to Canadian Tire at Yonge and Church and dealt with Ishraq. I was extremely impressed with him. He was very friendly and helpful. He even helped me to move the wheels from the car into the showroom. He inspected the tires and said they are fine and do not need to be replaced, plus he'd confirm that with the tire experts at the shop. They did not need to be replaced as the guy at the old place said. He obviosuly resented his job and the the customers!! Canadian Tire found a leaky valve in one of the tires which was fixed. When I dropped the wheels off, Ishraq said that, even though I was booked for the following day, he'd try to have the winters put on that same day. When I picked the car up, he was very friendly, as were his colleagues at the counter. This really was a pleasure!!

Good selection and less crowded than the eaton centre location! Also has proper checkout lanes with staff (instead of the self checkout at eaton, which is a nightmare)

Today at Dec/12/2024 between 6:45 and 8:20 incident that happened to me.
I had bad experience with the service at this canada tire,I specifically came to buy the microwave cart that cost 149 which was advertised on the weekly filer.i arrived at the distantion with a lot of good spirt to buy in this cold weather but reaching at this location Canada Tire,I asked one of the employees where I could see this cart and he told me to go downstairs and after searching I couldn't find it so I was looking for help but I could not find any employee at floor for a good 20 mins than after my 20 Mins were wasted and I'm about to leave I found one employe and i asked him where I could find the cart he side the same spot like the first guy in Aiel#201 I side it was not there but he didn't care he just wanted to get ride of me he kept saying it's there just go check there, than I couldn't get answer so I went again to check it and when I came back to tell him again it was not there he was not there it's like he disappeared in thin air,I went upstairs to ask for a better employe to help me and after I told him my experience he side to go downstairs again that this time I would get help than going back downstairs I don't know if the guy was supervisor i think they got the call, all of a sudden it's like they were hiding like 3 to 4 employees came out and become on sight than the lady that came to help me took me to the same spot Aiel#201 which she couldn't find it there and went to cheack the back and she told me that the cart is in the wearhouse and it's heavy to bring it out so I don't understand why I wasted all my time and effort for just a simple cart that I didn't even end up buying. I spent about 1hr and 20 mins in this location for not good reason, this is the second time this is happing to me in the downstairs floor so poor service and poor advertising I think this is a good and enough sign for me not to go to Canada Tire anymore.

Be ware of the tire scam at this auto centre. I took my car in to fix a slow tire leak. They said they fixed it and charged me $80. A few days later I noticed it still leaked. I returned the car and even without looking at it I was told I needed a new tire. The tires on the car have only 8,000km on them. I insisted they look at it. They came back with a ridiculous claim that the new nail puncture was right beside the previous nail puncture (statistically virtually impossible) so it couldn’t be fixed and I needed a new tire. I just had the puncture fixed for $58 at an honest store.
Extremely dishonest service !!!

Seems this place has gone down a bit in customer service. Shelves not stocked (although they have the inventory as indictated online) and upon asking they have to get it from storage - takes forever, wasting time. Manager is no help and has condescending attitude. Hopefully this was one off and they will try to do better.
