Shaun Kwong Hing (Caplans's rep) and Stephanie Quan (Customer Support) provided incredible service going above and beyond to care about my appliance service. Shaun as a sales representative took time to follow up, reach in and ensure I was taken care long after sale. Stephanie updated me on parts, and service with them both working together to find a solution. This is customer service at its best.

I was dealing with Caplans because of a warranty issue. Jeff and Viga were amazing! They did everything they could solve my issue after receiving little to no help from the warranty company. The products and customer support are top notch and in future, my only go to place for appliances! Thank you both so much!

Thank you, Brendon, for being so helpful when we were selecting our washer/dryer and basement fridge, as well as being very accommodating when we had to make adjustments due to space constrictions. You will be our first call when we need to replace any of our other appliances!

I recently bought 4 appliance's for our new kitchen. Angelo was our sales person very knowledgeable however 2 of our 4 Bosch appliances arrived damaged. Caplan sent repair person to fix the dishwasher and did nothing about the large dent on our double oven. Our dishwasher from day one was not drying our dishes and we have been working with Bosch for months with no support from caplan’s.

Matt Hebert helped us quickly and efficiently identify our needs and select the appropriate appliances, plus arranged for delivery at a very fair price. The whole process was smooth and largely effortless on our part. We came from North York, and it was well worth the drive across the city.

Initial experience was great in 2016. 2022 i had to get a thermador replacement because it died in year 5. I was given a credit from thermador to use again at caplans but got the same fridge I had to pay an extra $5k during the pandemic. In 2022 they delivered the new fridge after 6 months of waiting and it had huge damage in which they said it will have the panel replaced in several weeks. It turned out to be 15 months before a panel was even offered to be installed but just before then the new Thermador fridge died in 14 months and again I was given a credit back from Thermador to use at Caplans but now the new fridge is again another $4K more. They also promised a credit from thermador for the last 7 months due to this delay in panel and service but so far they have reissued the cheque 2x and 7 months later they never seem to send the cheque. Always lost in Canada post and now lost with Purolator which says that it was never even picked up!So now ordered a Cafe fridge from them and the same model was available at Costco for next week delivery plus $1300 less!!!! I only stuck with Caplans because they promise to deal with haul away and delivery to be smooth and seamless. Well! It's been 3 weeks since I ordered and they promised to have it delivered last Friday and still nothing!!!! I could have saved myself $1300, go with Costco and figure out the logistics of having the old fridge moved out two weeks ago!!! So sad that their service has gone to garbage. My family and friends have been buying from them for 30+ years. This will be the last time.

I recently purchased a compact washing machine from Caplan’s. Saverio Fodaro, my sales rep, was knowledgeable, professional and responsive. His experience with the various products helped me quickly make the right product decision for our condo. He answered all my questions and made suggestions about items I would need for a proper installation. Saverio went above and beyond during the whole process explaining things and making recommendations. He made communicating with me a priority, quickly responding by phone and e-mail. Saverio said the washer would be available in 2 weeks and approx. 2 weeks after I placed my order, I received a call asking when I would like to schedule my delivery. The delivery was scheduled based on the day I was available and the time window I provided. The delivery was subsequently executed, without a hitch on the day and time scheduled. The whole delivery process went very smoothly. I had the washing machine installed and during installation discovered that one of the old water hoses had a crack. I was very thankful that Saverio suggested I purchase new hoses with my washing machine. This saved me a lot of potential headaches.I had a very positive experience and would gladly recommend Caplan's and especially Saverio to family and friends.

We have bought from Caplan's for years. Sam Fodoro helps guide us and helps us pick the best appliances for our needs. He is great to deal with and he is so very knowledgeable. Always pleasant and he has great ideas as well. For instance, we had to get rid of the existing backslash behind our new range in order to install the new microwave, convection oven. He suggested stainless steel as the backslash. And WOW!!! IT ALL LOOKS LIKE IT BELONGS TOGETHER. Thanks Sam!

CAPLAN'S APPLIANCES - NEVER BUY FROM THEM.
After five months of fighting and finally having to talk about contacting consumer advocy, Caplan's has decided to do what they should have in August. It was not easy as they tried very hard to dismiss us - telling us "This was not something they cover". This was the most horrible customer service I have ever experienced. After waiting for four months for something we were told would be a two week wait, we took delivery of a new refrigerator. Upon installation, we had concerns as it would not seal properly and were leaving for a three week holiday. A neighbor checked on our house and found a foul smell, discovered the unit/compressor had failed and we lost an entire refrigerator of food and medications. We had to come back from our holiday to deal with this. A replacement unit arrived and it had a tear in the waterline. A (second) brand new Whirlpool unit had a tear in the water line and Caplan's did not go to bat for us on this with Whirlpool. We had to accept repair and we had to negotiate (and threaten) Whirlpool to get an extension on the warranty.
Caplan's refused to compensate us for the $800 of lost items, the President of the company would not speak to or write me and there was a complete dismissal of our loss. Not unitl I threatened to contact consumer advocates did I get any consideration.
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM CAPLANS NOR WHIRLPOOL AGAIN. YOU SHOULD BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THEM. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR BRAND AND HAVE THE POOREST OF BUSINESS ACUMEN. I ran a business for thirty years - when we messed up, we acknowledged it and did the right thing. CAPLANS works hard to get the sale and falls on every level after. A service person told us "you are not special" when we asked for a delivery window becasue we had to return from holiday for delivery.
BRANDING LESSON TO CAPLAN'S AND WHIRLPOOL. BAD REVIEWS HURT. DOING THE RIGHT THING GARNISHES GOOD RESULTS AND GOODWILL.

Sales Associate Brendon was super helpful. He helped us select our appliance according to my families needs with no pressure or stress. The delivery team was lovely; extremely professional, helpful, informative and tidied up after the installation. Highly recommend Caplan's not only for value, but for service and professionalism all around!

We have had a great experience and support dealing with Matt Hebert at Caplan's as we shopped for new appliances for our new kitchen. He was excellent in finding and recommending appliances that we wanted in our new kitchen, and he supported us when we had issues with Wolf/Maroline Canada with our range. He provided great professional and timely communications/follow through throughout the entire sales and delivery process. We'd highly recommend him and Caplan's to anyone looking for appliances.

Had a great experience dealing with Shaun. Helped us replace a washer & dryer. Appreciated his expertise. Delivery was tricky as our home was built long before houses had to accommodate such machines. Shaun worked hard to ensure we could get a full-sized set. Caplan's will be first port of call when we need to replace another appliance.

I have a Caplans extended warrantee on our range and it needed service. The repair company was slow in responding but our Caplans salesperson was very helpful in expediting the repair. It is now back in working order.
