Wonderful selection of Indian outfits! My family had a great wedding shopping experience. Chandan, Uncle Ji are wonderful, Raman is my go-to girl :) Now when I visit Gerard I feel like there will always be familiar and warm Greetings exchanged which will live well beyond any shopping needs :)

On 1st visit we went to chandan store at Gerrard and purchased 3 sarees from them , the attending sales associate was very helpful including the manager. I also have a very good professional connection with the owner and his wife . We went there based on our connection.
We also went there on Sunday evening around 6:30 and the same sales associate greeted us and told that she kept aside another saree for us but she was little occupied with other customers as well and requested us to ask couple of minutes and in the mean time another person named RAMAN approached to us and wanted to help In a unprofessional manner "Do you need any help ?" And we told her poliety that we are waiting for somebody and she is willing to help us because she knows what we are going to buy In the mean time the sales associate we dealt with before talked to RAMAN and told her that she is going to look after us and she reserved the saree for us but unfortunately RAMAN didn't listen and said she was going to look after us and kept asking what we wanted unnecessarily. At one point of time she even said we don't have that item anymore but it was over right by our main sales associate as she confirmed the saree she kept it aside was waiting for us. This simple episode made RAMAN very angry. When I was willing to pay by cash and when I kept money on top of her counter she was extremely RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL at that time asking me to give the money in her hand . In my canadian life I have never seen any approach like this which maybe applicable in India but definitely not in Canadian standards . I recommend the owner to review camera footage and take appropriate action to make sure that Canadians are receiving due respect in your store. Please feel free to get back to me if you want further details. We are here to see that Canadian are treated well and with due respect everywhere in Canada.

I had the greatest experience shopping at Chandan Fashion this past weekend. All of the ladies were super helpful and patient! We shopped until the doors closed and were completely satisfied with our purchases. Thank you to all the ladies, especially Anmol! The shopping process was super smooth and effortless! I can’t wait to go back and purchase the rest of my outfits! I definitely recommend checking them out!

Place is beautiful . Feels like india . I went there just to look around. I love the clothing jewellery staff is so friendly they helped me a lot . I ended up buying a suit . I recommend everyone to visit there they have also bridal clothes

Rude service and unprofessional behaviour. Small stock of average wedding outfits. Definitely a traditional store. Not really for modern brides or anyone wanting unique but affordable options. Customers should not have to justify why they want what they want. And they shouldn’t be badgered into changing their mind. The so called designer’s behaviour was atrocious. Would not recommend this business.

I came into Chandan fashion a few weeks ago to purchase a lengha. Note: I’ve been coming here for years to purchase my outfits. Now, I’ve changed my mind about this place.. I purchased a dress that was smaller than my size but they reported if I got it altered it would definitely fit. I went to a few different tailors to see if alterations could be made. They reported the blouse length is too short and this dress would not be suitable for me.
When I told the employees about the length they said it was not their fault and trying to blame me for not checking…. This blouse was the length of half my chest.
When I had originally purchased they said I could return if alterations could not be made. When I called cookie uncle he reported he has not said this in over 45 years of his business.
This business has gone down over the years with multiple lies trying to get your money.
Just an FYI I left saying thank you because that’s the kind of person I am. I’m seeing multiple people reporting how this business has gone downhill.

I feel so betrayed honestly, got a kurta suit from them with my guy, and i was sold a cotton kurta for 300$ which was on discount but they charged me full amount regardless. I feel cheated as this person at the store asked me where was i from, i seemed rich blah blah blah and boom! I saw good reviews and visited this place but dont be a fool they are gonna loot you if you are not a typical brown. I dont recommend this store at all unless you have real experience bargaining. If the tag says 400 its sure is of 200 thats the bargaining gap? absolute disappointment

I went to chandan fashions, looking for my bridal lengha and had a really disappointing experience. I’ve shopped at Chandan fashions over the past 10 years I used to go with my grandmother all the time, and I just really felt disregarded by the staff there.
We arrived at the appointment and we’re told to go upstairs, not knowing that it was the third floor so we were on the second floor looking at lenghas and nobody bothered to tell us until last minute that we needed to go upstairs. My bridesmaids had to ask what the price ranges were because they weren’t disclosing any of the prices to us before putting me in lenghas. I was not helped as soon as I came upstairs, they kind of let us walk around and do whatever until we called them over to help us. The staff were fighting amongst themselves in the back and we weren't really greeted or given much information on what the appointment process was. I was shown things that were not in my budget and I was given recommendations that would put me over my budget.
I was set on a blue lengha. That was a colour that I really wanted to wear to get married so I had asked to try on a blue lengha. Luckily, they did have one. I was able to try that on, but I was told by the stylist that I should technically wear red. I don’t look as good in blue. We ended up ending the appointment early because I just felt like they were pushing a lot of things on me that I didn’t necessarily want and I also felt like they really didn’t care whether I bought something or not or whether I got something that I liked or not.
it’s unfortunate because I’ve shopped Chandan fashions before and I’ve had a positive experience, but I had such a negative one today that I wouldn’t go back again.

Great selection and excellent customer service. I bought two semi silk sarees for Onam celebration from here at a discount for $40 each. And they stitched the blouse for one saree for $70 based on the design I provided. You can get better price for blouse stitching elsewhere like Brampton. But I chose to get it done with them because I loved their service. They had it stitched and ready for pickup within a day. But when I tried it on it was too tight. So they redid it for me on the same day.
