After a very disappointing visit to the Yorkdale Chanel store (customer service wise) I came to this location to browse the new season. I talked to both Alyssa and Eva and they were truly the kindest sales associates that I’ve ever met! I now know to only shop at this location and their service here is superior to other locations and other luxury brands! Thank you for the great experience!

In contrast, Chanel’s location on Yorkville Avenue in Toronto may carry the brand’s prestigious name, but it feels less grand in comparison. While still luxurious, the store is smaller and caters more to a local clientele, which can sometimes feel less polished than the Paris flagship. Yorkville itself is a stylish district, but it doesn’t have the same depth of history or cultural prestige associated with Paris’s fashion scene. The customer experience in Yorkville may feel less curated and extravagant, making it less of a destination for those seeking the full Chanel immersion that one gets in the Paris flagship.
The Paris store is where Chanel’s legacy is rooted, while Yorkville serves as a more accessible point of luxury for a different market, offering less of the magic and heritage of Chanel’s Parisian origins.

I want to give a big shoutout to Eva for being an absolute star. Her customer service and attention to detail is unmatched. I’ve been to the other Chanel locations around (Yorkdale and HR on Bloor) but no one comes close to being as professional as Eva. I would highly recommend you to ask for her during your next visit, as she makes your visit to Chanel a truly memorable one. Thanks Eva for your wonderful service. We really appreciate it!

Sales associate was following me around when I was just browsing the store. She didn’t even ask if I needed help, just stayed behind me the whole time and made me very uncomfortable. I wanted to buy something but that situation made me so uncomfortable I left.

I don't want to compare even one point, very poor service attitude. Will never go back or buy any product from this brand again. The staff were looking at me from top to bottom while queuing up outside the door, but no one paid any attention to me after I entered. CS had obviously emailed me to notify me that the product I wanted to buy was in the store, but the clerk ignored him. It took me a long time to find someone to inquire, and there were not many customers in the store. When I found the clerk who paid attention, he informed me that there was no product. I was asked to go to the store every day to ask. I sat in the car for an hour just to receive the blank look from their staff and the reply that it was out of stock. What service is this...

Chanel had amazing couture, but the staff here has no skills when interacting with seniors. Will not return for that reason alone, and remember - it will be you too one day.

Lovely SAs here. I've been a CHANEL collector since 2010 but typically go to the one in Holt Renfrew. This location handled a jewellery repair for me and they were absolutely lovely.
