WILL TRY TO ROB YOU! STAY AWAY!
Against my good intuition I decided to pay for a table for my friends birthday. When I first went to buy a bottle the bartender was very rude and short when I asked questions about pricing.
What’s unbelievable is when she handed me the POS to pay for it was more than $200 than the actual bottle price.
I simply asked for a receipt just to verify the charges and the bartender clearly got nervous (not a very good criminal). She said she has to get her manager’s approval to give me a receipt which is one of the most insane things I’ve ever heard at a club. She kept pushing for me just to pay but once she realized I wasn’t I finally got my receipt and it was $100 less than what she was trying to charge me before.
They also lied about my friends being able to get past the cover charge and everyone had to pay a $40 cover fee and it took more than an hour just for them to get through the line.
I’ve been in clubs for over a decade and have never experienced such blatant disrespect and fraud in a “developed” country. I tried to talk with the manager about it who said “people make mistakes”. It appalls me because they would have actually made more money if they were just friendly and straightforward.
Luckily I was wearing meta glasses so I can send the evidence to the police and flame them on social media.

During the winter the smoking area has outdoor propane heaters! It was so perfect! The regulars were extra friendly and sociable and we felt welcomed.

One of the best places in Toronto for house / progressive / trance / techno. Sound system is fantastic. Great location, highly accessible to transit. Often have big names.

Had an amazing evening @ Coda. Wicked sound and lighting. Special thank you to Sonia for making our first visit to the club memorable and fun. All staff are friendly and go out of there way to make your feel welcome. Highly recommend!! Jeremy Olanders performance was top notch.

Coda is a vibe 💜 it has an amazing pK sound system, friendly bartenders & they book super talented artists & diverse sounds. Always a fun time at Coda. 👌🏽

The sound and music was great but the security completely ruined the experience from the start. They’re SUPER rude…shouting at guests, talking down to everyone and acting like they’re on some power trip. On top of that, they were shoving guests to the side to get through crowds, which felt really unnecessary and unprofessional.
Good sound isn’t enough to make up for that kind of treatment. I don't recommend and won’t be returning.
