While this store has some nice items, I would unfortunately never go back based on the horrible service. My mother and I were looking at some shoes, and determining which to try on based on the European sizing. As we have many pairs of Birkenstocks, we know what size we wear in European shoes. The sales woman repeatedly insisted we were incorrect, and suggested 2 sizes smaller. We persevered, and tried on the size we initially thought was correct, and they in fact were a small cut, so we could have even benefited in sizing up! The sales woman insisted that it didn’t matter, because they would stretch. One of the styles had a large platform, and my mother and I explained that that wasn’t for us (myself not wanting to add height as I am already tall, and my Mother worried about balance as she has arthritic knees). The sales woman insisted that we “wouldn’t even notice” the platform, despite it adding more than an inch to our overall height. Finally, when my mom found a pair she wanted to purchase, she had checked out and after the payment had gone through, the sales woman said “these are final sale, good they fit!” A completely unpleasant experience that would prevent me from stepping back in this store again!

When I entered the store, the staff looked unpleasantly surprised and followed me at every step. Both ladies were borderline rude with me. But very nice with another kind of customer being there. I won't go onto details about that )) When I asked if they have a particular kind of clothes they said: "No, and we won't". Wow. I went next door and received great service there. Never again.

I bought an Ilse Jacobson shoes last spring. The shoes are very comfortable and great for walking.However , within 3 months, the shoes stretched to the extent that I could not walk anymore with themA Pair of these shoes cost about $150. I would have appreciated heads up from the store at the time of purchase.The only thing the store owner mentioned when I took the shoes back to show her, is that these shoes stretches.She failed to mention that at the time of purchase.When shoes stretch , they are not worth $150.

One of the worst boutiques in the east end of Toronto when it comes to service, the owner is very dismissive, and has no regard for customers, wishes or value. It is a shame that such places still exist in our diverse, inclusive city would never recommend this place to anyone.
