I don't understand how anyone can shop here. Their entire online system is broken and the staff are anemic. Made a purchase online and system says it's available for pick up same day. Call ahead and staff says will take several days. Just buy elsewhere, not worth it especially considering the price of everything.

David and Rowan were very helpful and friendly. They were able to quickly find items from a gift registry, get them from the back, and package them beautifully! They are a great team!

They sell furniture that no longer available for purchase, spent an hour to pick the my wife wanted and we’re ready to spend 10k+ money and they didn’t even try to explain why we can’t buy it, just told us it’s no longer available. Waste of time.

UPDATE: I've managed to get a refund. But their policy stays the same: they charge for every delivery. And their in-store staff are either don't know about that or just mislead. If you have to buy anything here, do research and take care of yourself. Good Luck!BEWARE OF THE DELIVERY FEE! Long story short: I was charged 3 times for one order which is over $1000 just for the delivery. Before I put the order I asked about the delivery because 329 delivery fee+tax seems to be insane. A friendly staff told me that the fee is all inclusive which means that for $377 after tax you get all furnitures in your order delivered and assembled. Sounds good right? Turns out that not only I have to assemble the furnitures myself, I was charged EVERYTIME a furniture is delivered to me. When I check my bill I was totally shocked by the 1100$+++ bill just for the delivery. It is insane.

Love every item from Crate & Barrel, and decided to try out their design services for my up and coming new house. Submitted the service request twice and finally a designer called back. Totally unprofessional the moment she spoke, she has her own design company in addition to working for Crate & Barrel as a designer. Anyway she’s supposed to email me her email address as I was outside. It’s already been 3 days and I have yet to receive any response from her. Why would an established store have such customer service?? Just disappointed

I love this branch of Crate and Barrel, Lots to see and shop. Lot of housewares, kitchen accessories and some Furniture.I purchased a unique vase and candle holder.“Felipe” was very polite and helpful, he even offered me the promotion they had for new home furniture and accessories shopping.

Jan 15, 2023 I made a order of a dining table and paid full price as it is in stock. I have scheduled a delivery date on Feb 1 and received a confirmation call regarding the delivery at the end of Jan. However, I received an email instead of the table in the morning of Feb 1 told me that the item is not available until Feb 11. So, we decided to wait. On Feb 9, we received a confirmation call regarding the delivery again and an email on Feb 11 morning saying that the table is not available for delivery. We made another call and was told it could be delivered at Feb 14. Then, guess what, they didn’t do inspections and have delivered a damaged table to me. I was told again and again that they have to order table from India and the table could be ready on March 7. On March 7 , we did receive the table and the frame however, there is no hardware. So the delivery guys put the table frame on my floor and left. They said they have to order hardware from China and it will take 4-5 weeks and probably will be shipped to me at the third week of April! Amazing! I paid the full price and buy in stock items and still have to wait 3 months! Now, no one call me regarding the solution, I have to follow up with them again and again. When you buy items from Crate and barrel, please double check with them is it “in stock” the same with other stores before place an order.

5-star review for their Lounge Sofa from Crate & Barrel!! Full disclaimer: This is more of a sectional product quality and in-store customer service review and has nothing to do with the purchase process, as we at the end didn't buy direct from the store. We were there only at the last 15 minutes before it closed and from sitting on this sectional it instantly became one of my favs. I've been furniture store hopping across the GTA each weekend. This one is the giant deep casual lounge sofa of my dreams. It has deepest seating with two options (41" or 46", we love the latter). As soon as I sat back, my legs propped up. Crate & Barrel specializes in larger sectionals. This one is just the perfect amount of firmness, classic shape, and solidly built. I wanted something that will last the test of time and this is it. Part of my research of looking for a couch is to see how it wears over time in the used market and this couch looks like it's in great condition even used (no sagging). It's one of the longest two-piece sectionals we've seen, coming in at 124 inches, which was pushing it in terms of space. Also every interior designer seems to rave about this couch and it's quality. It's built in the USA and has really heavy high resiliency cushions that are not likely to sag. The only issue I have is with the taft fabric which I have now... its more of a textured weave material and when I brush my earring against it, it pulls the fabric a bit. Even though it's considered a performance fabric, I recommend something else. They have over 100 fabric options to choose from, Douglas being the most premium and feels really good.The sales associate is also super friendly and helpful even though our interaction was very limited given we came towards the end to try the couches. I feel like she was on commission but there was no pressure to purchase at all and she was helpful. Tip: If you just recently moved and submit a change in address to the postal office and send over proof to Crate & Barrel you can get 15% or 20% on all purchases, which is huge when it comes to a big purchase. Definitely a pricey investment but I intend to use the couch every day and even sleep on sometimes so it's worth the investment for me.

Staff were fantastic & very helpful. Offered to wrap our gifts for friends & told us of extra services & promotions. Cashier who rang us up was very pleasant & all smiles & jokes. We had a great time at Crate & Barrel & I look forward to coming back to buy more

The delivery and post sale service was horrible. My bed arrived late (after a week of talking to associates who gave me the run around) and damaged - and worst of all the delivery company damaged my brand new walls severely with scratches and dents. I have been forced to put in a claim with the insurance company of the delivery company because Crate & Barrell has washed themselves of any liability. So I have now spent thousands of dollars on a stained bed (disclaimer - they gave me 20% off but in hindsight that just is not enough, I was so frustrated I accepted it) AND I am at the mercy of the insurance company to decide if there is even liability. And even if they determine that there is liability it is up to them on how my walls will get fixed - which will also be a process. All I wanted was a bed from what I believed to be a reputable company - but this has been nothing but distress.

I bought a kitchen cart through the store. Was told by the salesperson that it was better to do it through the store, so I’d get better service. They gave me a pickup date of four weeks afterwards to pickup at their Mississauga warehouse. The day before my scheduled pickup, I was called by the warehouse who told me it would be another 12 weeks for the product to arrive. Called the store to resolve this (as there had been 91 in stock when I made the purchase) and the customer service person told me she couldn’t deal with it because she was going to be off for the next days. I cancelled the order, bought somewhere else and won’t be back.

Love to go see their displays. Very nice. Spacious and clean. Sales ladies are very helpful. Items are well displayed. Some are expensive tho.

A few months ago I received my order. My sofa and cabinet arrived damaged. Crate and barrel had sent replacements and both items again arrived damaged. The customer service hasn’t been great, I am told one thing, and then nothing happens and I continue to call to speak with someone. I feel like I shouldn’t have to be chasing the resolutions. Their communication between each other and notes left on my order arent great and I am constantly repeating myself about the same issues to different people. For a company that is high end and charges a good amount of money for their furniture, you would expect better customer service. I am very disappointed by the way things are handled for something that is not my fault. I hate writing reviews, but this experience has been such a disappointment and I really felt like I was purchasing from a high end furniture store for my new home. I understand the damages are not their fault and can happen during manufacturing or shipping. But it is their job to take ownership and help resolve these issues for us and that is something that is not being done.

The products are so nice, but it's always such a painful experience trying to buy any of the large ticket items here. I love shopping here when I don't require assistance from anyone. But recently we stopped by to take a look at the coffee tables and were serviced by possibly the most condescending salesperson that was working that day. I don't like being judged, and I don't think this person was able to complete a single sentence without being judgmental. She made comments about my room possibly being too small for the table I liked (it's not, she didn't even ask the size) and instead of showing us more options, she wanted us to purchase the first table she showed us. Needless to say, I will NOT be purchasing my coffee table from this location at least.
