Dollarama had everything I needed at good prices.
But....
There are more self serve check outs than cashiers now.
I prefer a person at cash even if the machines are easy to use.

This location is terrible as they don't know the meaning of customer service and they insult their customers and slender them and use people! Is troubling as the world changed and people's mindset ,as theta turned as evil. I would not shoppers here as they know stupidity

Good luck having someone help you. Most of the staff is busy solving grave global problems, or at least I hope so coz they are engaged in such deep conversation. And the only person who’s nice is left to stock up the place while trying to help all the other customers.

I have enjoyed having a Dollarama in the mall of my apartment building. It's a large and clean store, with many good employees that have pretty much been there since day one. Although, I do miss Pharma Plus which was here before Dollorama, but having a Dollorama here has been incredibly convenient for me considering I'm a single mother with a disabled daughter, so it has been a good thing for us, and I do appreciate our building's owners who decided to bring the Dollorama to our Mall. Great service as well. Thank you all, for your hard work...

I have watched this store go down hill. Many times I have seen the staff standing In an aisle on their cell phone.Staff ignoring you when wanting a cashier as opposed to self check out,Security standing by the door on their cell phone while people are actually walking out with unpaid items. How on earth can a shoplifter be caught when security stand in one spot, surely they should be walking down the aisles,no matter I am not the one paying them for doing nothing
Sunday 14th July at about 5.15 pm.
I was looking at the umbrellas,I did not notice that one of the umbrellas was broken and spikes were sticking out,I got jabbed
in my thumb, bleeding I approached the Security and told him mentioning the item should be removed so that no one else gets hurt,he saw i was bleeding said nothinh and did nothing, i went and took the broken umbrella, showed it to security and I asked him why he did not remove it as i had showed him i got jabbed and it was dangerous. His response was 'Its not my job' are you kidding me
It's not his job to remove a broken item from the shelf preventing someone getting hurt!! Nor it would appear is it the others staffs job.

Old blonde cashier is the worst. She is always in a bad mood, mumbling smth and I think she hates every customer

May 2024 by do better
ye olde blonde lady lies about being able to use the cash register to pay and break change - she would rather stand around lazily and watch people use the self checkout machines. just keep asking her and she will

The thin older lady with grey hair is beyond rude. I needed to add a bag to my transaction and she looked me up and down and said “can you move”. I was in complete shock. This is unacceptable. I live in the apartment buildings above and have been coming here for over 8 years. Shame on her. If I could message corporate I would ?

Staff here is extremely lazy. I was given dirty looks because I wanted to wait for a cashier as opposed to using or waiting for a self serve machine. Their were staff members standing around doing absolutely nothing. This generation is so bright that they are ok with making their job redundant

I saw a man putting all the boxer shorts in his bag that he hid behind the concrete post in the middle of the aisle, I saw him talk to the sales man in the front then leave the store without paying, I reported this to the sales lady and sales lady relay the message to that sales man in the front of the store but the sales man just ignored us. Too bad, I would say the thief has connections with that sales man. I phoned the store and reported it to the store manager. The owner of this store should check their employees!!!

It's Dollarama. I no longer expect much. Small and tight. Security on duty. Sometimes have to line up. Frequented by students from the high school across the street. Located at the corner of Dundas Street West and Bloor West. Dundas West Subway, GO Transit, McDonald's, Freshco in the immediate area. Accessible ramp.

Be careful when shopping at this store, folks!I paid at self-service checkout. The machine gave me change, a ten dollar bill. It was pale, on a thick paper, with a messy silver stripe.I showed the bill to the cashier, and politely asked to exchange it for real Canadian currency. Instead of checking with the police, the cashier tried to convince me that it is a valid Canadian bank note. She flatly refused to exchange it. Then, she said that she cannot open the cash register. So I offered to buy more, if she gives me the change in real money. She agreed, but immediately left her cash register.I had to go back to buy additional items, the security guard followed me like a hawk.Another cashier stared at that ten dollar bill, and went to consult her colleague. I found the previous cashier - and she confirmed that the weird bill was from their machine. Finally, I paid. The cashier gave me change, a toonie. Another fake? No polar bear on her toonie, only some messy image.I had to buy another item - just to give them their toonie back. What is the problem with this store?
