Approached the cashier at approx 3pm. She was engaged in a what I overheard was a personal conversation with another younger employee. Cashier lady was approx 5 foot 2 or so heavy set older woman with glasses on. She was very rude to me and got offended when my Toonie fell onto the desk. She stared at me and said thank you sarcastically. She accused me of throwing it at her. I did not please check your video camera. She never said hi to me when we began the interaction but rather ignored any polite greeting whatsoever. I got a bad vibe from this employee and I urge the management to hire someone else who appreciates their job and actually likes customers at Dolarama. Being rude to customers is the most effective way to ensure customers never come back. I’ve been going to that Dollarama store for approx 10 years or so and do not wish to see that kind of mean employee there to serve me any further. Nobody deserves that type of rude disrespect.

Ah, I remember the time I got lost in the mall back in ’72. I was lookin’ for a pair of new shoelaces – not shoes, mind you, just the laces. You see, shoes back then were made to last, but the laces? Well, they disintegrated after a few weeks! Anyway, I wandered into a department store, ended up in the perfume section, and before I knew it, I was leading a conga line of elderly women around the escalator! That was the day I discovered the magic of lavender. Haven’t worn anything else since. Smell like a garden, I do!

Very rude staff . There’s one girl who works here in curly braids and she’s horrible . It’s July 21st and The store closes at 7pm on Sunday at 6:59pm she took the lights off and was screaming at everyone that the store is closed . She also screamed that she doesn’t want to work there . The management needs to evaluate its workers because why would you hire someone that doesn’t want to work . I’m definitely calling management tomorrow to complain because this is unacceptable .
If you don’t want to do your job then don’t work , give it to someone that actually wants to work .

I don't know what people expect out of Dollarama. It says right on the front door-- all sales final. I think this one is a particularly well stocked Dollarama. It's big, clean and has amazing stuff. The staff are always helpful and easy to find and approach unlike in other big (competitor) stores. This place is my "go to" for all gadgets and essentials.

it's a great location with different selections. the shelves are stocked, and things a re still priced decently. its Greta for last mi yte pick ups or cheap snacks. they even have some cheap fishing lures that are great if your just starting out. it's very conveniently located, the plaza has a Metro, Baskin Robins, and a vet and dog groomer.

I went into this Dollarama to see and was interested in some plastic plants as ornaments. The manager, I didn't even know it was him at the time, was in the hallways and in a rude manner and with a racist look demanded that everyone get out of his way. When I went to pay for the plants they had an amount and the cash register reflected a higher one, I asked for help, and a girl told me that the price was the one the cashier gave, higher, and nothing could be done, I asked to speak to the manager and she told me that he is her father, the rude man, she too, honoring her father, very rude, I left everything on the counter and didn't buy anything, I don't have to. Some items I saw were in poor condition, they supposedly changed the previous owners, I don't know if it was more than a year ago. At least I don't go in anymore, I prefer to go to Loblaws, Walmart or another place so they charge me more. That Dollarama is like entering a hostile neighborhood. Canada is a country with rights and freedom, and we all owe respect to each other, we do not need to support rude or racist people, enough!

I needed a wine opener. They had a wine opener 10/10. Only issue is my wife was short 5 cents and they refused to do anything. Understandable. I paid by card. But I must support my wife. This is how I take a stand. But you did the right thing.
