Came here to pay my bill and was overcharging me an extra $3 also won’t give me the account number or help. Suggestion since this is a stand alone location, your better off going to queen west at least you’ll get the support and less attitude unlike this location which is no help at all.

I have been with Wind/Freedom 14 years. I went on the website to find a location to get a phone upgrade. The location was closed so I went to 3 location in a different city and none of the locations had any stock in. One location had the doors locked and would not open because he literally had no stock. I called customer service to complain about the utterly rude behaviour from the store at WhiteOaks and she hung up on me. I called customer service to see where we can go to buy a phone and was hung up on. I keep getting calls to upgrade my phone and all the mytab credits I have but I want to walk in the store and walk out with a phone. I do not want to order online. I have more phonelines on my account than just mine and evidently Freedom does not care. I was looking to add another phone line but I chose a different phone company for the new line. I used to rave about Wind and tell my friends whom many switched over. I now feel bad about it; it has plummeted and I will be the next to leave.

The staff at this location are amazing. I was in and out and he effortlessly convinced me to stay with Freedom mobile even though I was considering leaving after visiting another Freedom Mobile location. I am continuing to be a Freedom customer thanks to this store! Great customer service.

Unfortunately most tech/mobile support is bad these days, but Freedom Mobile blows everything out of the water; unbelievably technically incompetent 'support' staff who only seem to read from some basic cheat sheet, and zero listening or engaging skills. I spent HOURs in the store and on the phone on an issue I was initially told is a "two minute" issue. During the process, as I was pushed further down the technical support line, I was told by every (!) FM person that what ever the previous FM person told me was wrong. This has now been the second time that I wasted many hours of my time to have a small technical problem solved (one that was on the Freedom System side, not a user issue!), mostly because of being referred to the wrong level/skill of support and repeating the same stuff over and over. And all of that for a service with very limited cell coverage and same pricing level than some others. I am done with FM and will shift my family to another provider and hope for the best.

I was helping to purchase a Samsung a03s Phone and to activate the $99 50 GB promotion they had at the time for my parents. The activation went fine however the phone we bought was defective and was unusable- the phone would randomly hang at times.I brought it back to the store around 15 mins after leaving with it and the store owner instead of actually listening to our issue and trying to provide assistance proceeded to tell us that we didn't know how to use the phone and that we needed to change our habits for it in order to use it. His employee actually had issues using the device and he had some random difficulties as well but he would not admit that the device in question was defective.In the end he did end up giving us a refund for the phone but the experience was less than stellar.My father had to escalate things and the store owner called us "crazy people" to our faces a couple of times even when I told him that although it was in his right to think of us this way it wasn't a good idea or professional to actually say it in the customer's face- wait until we leave the store.We ended up buying the same phone at Bestbuy at a cheaper price and better store return policy (Not final sale, 15 days return) but we didn't have any issues with the bestbuy stock the phone worked as normal and I didnt have to "relearn" or change my habits.

Absolute incompetence. I simply wanted to port my number from Koodo. Well, no. You have to get a 'temporary number' to set up an account, to start a transfer. Of course, they don't tell you this until you get your Sim card and try to start the activation. And this is after 35 minutes of 'support' to figure out why my number and PIN aren't in their system. Ok, so give me a temporary number, whatever. YOU HAVE TO GO TO A STORE TO GET THIS TEMPORARY NUMBER. Seriously, how can a technology company not be able to remotely give you a TEMPORARY number??? And this is after filling in all their forms and spending ~an hour getting this all set up to get the Sim card in the first place....................... and it never dawned on the person I was discussing this all with to mention this? What a waste of my life. Serves me right in trying to deal with a company owned by Shaw. I should have known better.

Best and economical phone lines. But, cannot pay by credit card when renew contract. Did not email reminder of anniversary date. Thus, many elderlies might missed the one year contract renewal dates. Freedom Mobile only text in ENGLISH. No good for Chinese people. Perhaps, Freedom Mobile should hire Chinese IT guys, lol...

We have been loyal customers of freedom since the beginning. We used Public then Wind, now Freedom. We always pay our bill on time. We spend a lot of money with them. Typically, the text message me the bill each month. Typically its around $150 to $180 range. This month its $419. When I called to get this obvious error fixed, thats where the nightmare began. After being shuffled from one department to another....I think I spoke for over an hour to at least 6 people....they claimed we made a 2.5 hour call to Somalia! We did not. There is no history on our phones of this call. None. We don't even call outside of Ontario let alone Africa. They offered to take $30 off the bill. Then, I was to either pay the bill or get cut off. Run folks! Do NOT put your trust in Freedom mobile. They are dishonest.

I have been a long time customer with Freedom...and Wind before Shaw bought them and changed name to Freedom. Very bad customer service experience spanning 13 days ... I'm porting my 2 cell #'s to Virgin Mobile.. For very few dollars more get better coverage and minimum 5X faster speed. I will never use Freedom mobile again. Beware.

Worst service, no signal....Canada wide...no. they keep taking me off the account, 0 customer service, ruined my vacation. Might have cost me my job. Funny that when I try to leave a review my signal drops. Avoid responsibility much. Call me if you want to talk like adults. They even once told me I should have another phone/provider.dont get freedom. I even get bad service in the gta, their main service area
