They can't seem to figure out how to direct withdrawal from my bank in over 6 months. I literally call every singe month. On top of it I get charged an extra $7.30 per month because of thier incompetence. This month I've already spoken to a supervisor who told me it was all fixed. I've been on hold more than 30 minutes at this point. Gave me time to give a bad review. I'll put this here, every month I have to call in again I'll leave a bad review at a different store location. Being nice doesn't work so here's me no longer being nice. I've been with freedom since they were wind. I will cancel my services over this incompetence. Finally got through after 45 minutes waiting. Asked to speak to a manager regarding the incompetence as I had already dealt with the supervisors last time I called. They hung up. Then i sat on hold for 20 minutes, system hung up, then again for another 35. Now I'm waiting to make a complaint and if a Manger doesn't connect in 24hours I'm leaving freedom. Been with them since 2010. So sad the decrease of skills of thier workers. So disappointing the decrease of care from the company.

Sending this to all review sites plusFreedom Mobile Negligence Freedom Mobile through their negligence allowed a sim swap to happen to my account. I was robbed of my identity. The person that was given access to my identity through Freedom Mobile deactivating my SIM card without any prior notice, then giving a new SIM card replacement to a unknown person at one of their locations. This unknown person was able to gain access to all my personal information that I have on my phone. My bank accounts and Coinbase wallet was hacked. I have suffered a financial loss along with my identity. The unknown person used my stolen identity to create other fraudulent accounts in my name. Freedom does not stand behind their customer privacy policies. They will not accept any responsibility for their negligence. If you value your Identity, remember freedom mobile has allowed 1.5 million customers information to be leaked do to their lack of protection customers privacy information from web access. So now this customer account information is being used against their own customers to be robbed and have their identity stolen like me. They will not take responsibility or protect your identity or account. Do a search for Freedom Mobile hacked accounts. Please let others know.

Purchased a phone & service from a location at Toronto's Eaton Centre. When we arrived home (Niagara Falls) we discovered that the cellular service here was very poor unless within a rural area of Niagara Region. Even rural areas we've had dropped calls. We talked to tech support to be sure the phone was set to automatic for service providers as the plan is for calls made to/from Canada & the U.S. to either country. Still very poor call quality and dropped calls.We called while still in Buyer's Remorse and were advised it had to go back to the same store it was purchased from. We advised due to work, etc that wouldn't be possible and only had 2 days left. In short, Freedom has refused to allow us to return to a local store. They claim to have said we could bring to a corporate location in Saint Catherines, however both locations refused and wouldn't even call Customer Service or seen if notes were on our account making an exception. We are now out of Buyer's Remorse and they are telling us it is our problem and should have found a way to return the phone to Toronto.Worst customer service I've ever encountered in my life. Agents at call centre are very aggressive, antagonistic and outright rude and insulting. The staff at stores are not any better. Refusing to help or understand our dilemma being by the time we tried troubleshooting the issue, discussing and the ability or inability to return the phone to its original location within Buyer's Remorse due to work, etc we now find ourselves fighting with a phone with poor quality and now 2 days past Buyer's Remorse and Freedom being outright impossible.Complaints are being filed with the CRTC & the Better Business Bureau of CanadaAVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!

The worst customer service, whose job seems to be to protect the company from customers. They violate their own terms of service, overcharge on data roaming and deplete your balance without telling you. Then they disconnect you and you find yourself surprised and stranded without connection. 1 star is too much.

Their service is a sham. What was sold to me as a deal has ended up being nothing but a hassle, and not worth what amounts to a small discount for poor cell service, in an extremely limited area, entirely unreliable outside of downtown Toronto. Data cuts in and out, even within the GTA--and is unusable during my commute. They have capped my data speeds without warning, well before my "unlimited" usage has topped out the 30GB plan I was sold. Customer service is literally awful—I had voicemail issues that went unresolved for four months, which I had to fight with them to be fixed, and then again to be refunded for. (The charges were later re-applied to a subsequent bill.) I have spent well over 24 hours, spread over weeks, trying to make headway with their rude and sometimes hostile customer service—which is only available through an online "chat" function. They have misrepresented themselves and lied to me outright, as well as refused to correct any of their mistakes. I hate to say it, because I really do want there to be an alternative to the Big Three, but going with Freedom is not a way to save time or money—and those other telecoms will at least rob you for better service.

Freedom is a complete scam ..after speaking to an agent that refused to help. According to Freedom rep Freedom is in the business of taking payments in full but not giving you the full service. I renewed my son's service in September and was told I was good for another year but here we are in June and Freedom has disconnected his service and robbed me of 3 months payment. They are trying to say because I originally purchased the phone in June as a 1 year prepaid but did not renew until September during that period there was no service to phone. I paid in September and renewed the phone as he returned to school but here we are in June and the phone has no service. So I get robbed of 3 months and Freedom refuses to honor it. They are trying to say it's contract but how is it contract when it's a prepaid service? I'm a single mom and completely feel robbed from Freedom!!!

I have been getting charged extra money every bill and I need to waste minimum 1 hour to contact freedom customer care and explain them. Never go with freedom mobile for cheap price they give you.First they will give you cheap plan and then charge you extra money for some reason. If your person who is busy and don't look at your auto pay. You won't even know this.Please don't go this company.

Horrible customer service. Just last night, because I wasn't having their attitude and disrespect. So she then abused her power and fabricated that I was ABUSIVE and warned me I am to no longer communicate with Freedom via WhatsApp. I would report yet from what I have seen the call center in Manila Philippines don't care and do as they please. Well Federal goContacting the CRTC and the federal government along with the humans right commission to filled a serious complaint. It's unacceptable and I will not have it

Switching to Freedom was my biggest regret. They boast “Nationwide” but I would call it “good luck leaving your house with a working phone.” I constantly would lose service, anywhere from at the gym to driving between Edmonton and Red Deer. I’ve missed important calls and texts and no one was able to get ahold of me due to the terrible cell coverage. I may have been on a small data plan, but I’m not just talking data here. I couldn’t even send a text over a regular network signal. Spent a whole vacation in Kelowna with no signal. Even SaskTel has coverage in other provinces, sheesh.

Let me start by saying I have been with Freedom since it was WIND and for the most part had been pretty happy.I will summarize the best I can so you, the reader, aren't bogged down with tons of information.In December of 2020 I purchased a NEW number for my OLD phone to give to my son for Christmas. Within a few months he broke it and I continued to pay as to pay the tab balance off. Fast forward to March of 2022 and I went into the store to cancel his number and upgrade my partners phone only to be told that my sons phone had MY # attached to it and his # was attached to my newer phone. They told me it was how things worked when I disputed that was not what was discussed and what happened. So instead of canceling and upgrading I had to call customer service. The people were friendly enough but unable to do anything at all about this issue. I spoke with several supervisors who then were able to cancel my number and were to reinstate it back to my phone. I waited 2 weeks and my phone still didn't turn back on and within those 2 weeks not one single person could figure out why or what I needed to do. I went to the warranty store 3 times on my own dime and was refused any help as this was an issue with the IT team and phone services team.Finally someone told me I needed to get a new sim card so I did. When jt came time to put the Sim card number into the phone to activate there were 500 steps that did no work. I called customer service AGAIN only to be told they couldn't do it over the phone for security purposes?? I called again the following day and what do ya know? The agent was able to put the Sim card number in with no issue..except they uploaded thr WRONG NUMBER TO MY PHONE. So, I have lost COUNTLESS money during all of this as I rely heavily on my phone for income, I've been lied too, driven around wasting money, had thr wrong number put on my phone and now my services are suspended again. I refuse to pay for the entire bill as this has drained me due to not being able to work, all this driving, all this wasted time and effort.If I am not given a 50% credit and the ability to finally upgrade my partners phone with a decent plan then I am washing my hands clean of this company and moving on.

How do I get a Canadian representative to answer my calls at Freedom? They told me to keep trying 611 until someone from Canada picks up ???The agents in Egypt and Philippines can't assist me with my concerns. Time well wasted.

Worst call centre and live agent chat everUnfortunately they don’t have the proper skills to help a customer who has trouble with there accounts. I am getting charged for a service that IDon’t even use. Freedommobile customer service plan is to transfer you to ever customer service rep until you get fed up and hang up. Agents apparently doesn’t have supervisors or managers and they don’t even have a head office according to staff members. So my problem is still not fix Thank Freedommobile?
