I got fitted for a new set of irons today and had an amazing experience with Raymond at the pro shop. I went in thinking I already knew which irons I wanted, but since I hadn’t played in years, I really couldn’t give him much direction. Raymond was incredibly patient and knowledgeable — we tested 3 or 4 different iron models and several shafts, and he carefully analyzed the data each time, making thoughtful adjustments along the way. By the end, it was clear that I was hitting much better with a completely different set than what I originally had in mind. If you’re getting fitted, definitely ask for Raymond — he’s fantastic!

Very disappointed with my shopping experience at Golf Town around 6:30 pm today. I asked a female cashier to check inventory for a clothing item because the one on the shelf was dirty, but she just sent me back to the rack and offered no help. Her unfriendly attitude made me uncomfortable — poor customer service at Golf Town. After reading other negative reviews, I’m sadly not surprised.

Female sales associate was incredibly condescending and rude. We came in ready to spend $900 on a driver but she couldn't be bothered to help and kept speaking down to us. Don't bother coming here if you're excited to buy a new driver - you'll feel like your money's no good here.

What a joke of a store. These days you're encouraged to bring your own bags yet they won't let you in the store with a backpack!!! I chose to leave and shop elsewhere.

I’m standing there, cash in hand, looking to buy a set of clubs and the staff walk away. Not even busy two of them are in the range themselves and the rest of them are just avoiding customers!!!

They are big enough so that when I was looking for an unusual club (Cobra 9 wood) they could tell me which location had one.

First of all the staff at proshop only acting nice when their boss is around. I was standing in line and no one asked me if I need help. When I finally got a hold The staff done sloppy work with re-gripping my club, first the sticker is out and I asked him to fix it, then he made a cut on the grip which is not a really a big deal but I don’t think anyone would be happy with a cut on a new grip that cost $32.

I would avoid this location if you can, they charged me double for re-gripping and stated its because it was under 24 hours, I’ve never had that mentioned before. I've re-gripped countless clubs on the day and it was always the same rate, even just a couple weeks ago at a different location. The teller admitted to it being their fault and did nothing, made a joke because I brought the grip in, instead of buying it there. Ill happily drive to a further location to save on double the re-grip.

Went to return something and they pretended the receipt was not in the system even though that is specifically why I provided my phone number when I purchased the item.
The guy wearing his name tag upside down covered by a walkie talkie (who may have been the manager although it’s hard to believe) seemed to make the return process as difficult as possible and snapped at me during the process for not knowing the name
of the street of the only location they have east of GTA in Durham region.
Will never go to this store again.

Too expensive , regripped 9 dollars plus tax with my own grip. Total 10.19 bucks. Used to be 5 dollars .and bad customer service if your not white.

The workers don’t care customer service is non existent. I was gonna boycott golf town based on my experience but then I went to the Markham location and got treated like a human.
