Gotstyle Clothing in the Distillery District might have stylish suits, but they have no respect for their customers' time or money. I ordered a suit directly with the owner, Melissa Austria, on April 15th, with a promised arrival the following week. Weeks of silence later, I had to chase them multiple times to get any information. Each time I called, their customer service acted clueless and made empty promises to call me back – which, of course, they never did.
After 40 days of waiting and poor communication, I found out my suit was on back-order – only because they had decided to prioritize a larger wedding party's order over mine, showing blatant favoritism. No updates, no follow-ups, just a complete disregard for me as a paying customer. By the time they finally admitted the delay, I'd wasted over a month dealing with their incompetence.
This isn’t a one-off issue but rather a pattern of disrespectful and careless treatment. They clearly put profits and big orders over customer service. If you value your time and want decent customer service, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Gotstyle. I'll be taking my business to a place that actually respects its customers.

Great selection of casual and formal clothing. Quality is usually very good, and the prices reflect that. Staff here are always just the best! It's really nice that they can do minor alterations in house too.

Whenever I need something, I check Gotstyle first because I know Ms Austria and her crew have superb taste, and there’ll be several special pieces to consider. If one wants jeans that actually enhance one’s appearance, that fit perfectly, and are a colour that delights, then that’s where one goes. And if you need to suit up? Find something really distinctive, and of lovely quality at this boutique. Oh yeah, I’ve been there in person. They are professionals and you’ll benefit from their fine taste and good nature.

One of the best shopping experiences we’ve ever had. The staff are friendly and helpful, without any hint of pushiness. During our visit, Aaron curated a diverse selection of items for us to try on and offered honest opinions on what looked good and what didn't. This was a very relaxed and enjoyable experience.Highly recommend this store.

I received assistance from Aaron and Brandon who were able to find me the perfect tuxedo for my wedding after my custom tuxedo I ordered from another vendor came in mangled. I had nine days before my wedding to get a tuxedo and Aaron and Brandon were on top of it finding me the perfect tuxedo. I had a great experience at the store and highly recommend them to anyone shopping for a nice tuxedo or suit.

I have been shopping at this GotStyle for the past 4 years because of the curated selection, sales, and most importantly employee service. My friends now tease me because of how much of my wardrobe is from this store. I am especially loyal to this store because of Aaron M., who has been above and beyond the best stylist I’ve had in my life. He is fun to shop with, sends me photos of inventory when I’m in the market for something, and has invited me to all of the store’s fun events they put on. Thanks Aaron for all your help through the years

Why don’t put a naked man in the event for entertainment and display? Seeing this in Canada in 2024 is absurd. No ethical concerns for people going to this store? Maybe do a little research on “nyotaimori”history. This is not art…this is a product of patriarchy.

I found GOTSTYLE a few years ago (as I live in Ottawa). The staff is amazing and Lindsay and I even follow each other on IG. I of course follow GOTSTYLE as well and love watching their lives, Sherry is a joy. When I'm in Toronto, it's a MUST stop and it's rare for me to walk out without a bag in hand. Styles I could never get in Ottawa!!! Online shopping is super easy, and they even double check when I select curb pick up (as I was in town last weekend) due to my address. Can't praise them enough, and looking forward to seeing the new location at The Well in person.
