For the last 6 months I have been coming here twice a week, and usually get a water, some gummy candies, and grapes before my shift at work.
Today I got my regular water, grapes, and candies. The cashier refused to sell me my normal portion of grapes I put in a produce bag, the way I have been buying them for the last 6 months! She called a manager and said it’s not possible.
I asked why today, I’m just refused grapes? She said I have to purchase the whole bag. At any grocery store, you can select the amount of grapes you want and get it in a produce bag., it’s all weighed the same at the end.
I am extremely weirded out, won’t be returning, and no longer purchasing anything from this location again. All this over grapes.

Prices here are a scam. Rice bowl is all rice no meat, takoyaki is ok. Just walk 2 min next door to T&T

I shop regularly from here and many hmart locations. Each time i visit this location i receive discriminatory staring from the security guard. I ignore him but each time he is acting ridiculous.

Great first-night meal from HMart!
We grabbed takeout from HMart on our first night in Toronto and it hit the spot. They had a 20% discount an hour before closing on triangle kimbap, bread, and we paired it with noodles and perfectly seasoned boiled eggs, a surprisingly satisfying meal for under $10!
The individually packaged kimchi was the perfect touch. The ladies at the register were super kind and helpful. Pro tip: they don’t sell alcohol at this location, so plan ahead if you want drinks. Great stop for a quick, affordable, and delicious bite!
