I recently visited holt renfrew to get a new winter jacket in the evening. The staff who helped me was patient, had good sense of fashion and showed me a lot of styles that would look good on my body. I was able to purchase a really pretty jacket and got so much compliments! Very happy with my experience :)

Great location to shop but the big mall really doesn’t capture the Toronto diverse rich culture and history. Kinda boring just as other big malls.

What a disaster… nobody working was able to direct me to in-store pick up. When I asked for help… everyone told me it wasn’t their department and couldn’t direct to someone else. And when I had it gift wrapped… they had me wait an extra 1.5hrs Poor customer service for a high-end department store. Wouldn’t be surprised if they end up with the same fate as Nordstrom.

I came in KNOWING I was going to buy something. I had seen it online and that it was in stock at this location, I was in the area so I figured why not. Immediately when I walked in, dirty side eyes and no one greeted me. Fine whatever, I walk up to the shoe section of where I was looking for my item and had seen two employees chatting so I decided to walk a little nearer and wait for them to finish so I can ask them for assistance. As I get nearer, one spots me and the other turns around. The one who saw me first looked at me up and down and gave me a nasty look then turned away. Luckily the girl who had turned around answered my question however the whole vibe threw me off and the nasty stares were humiliating. I went to a different location and purchased there instead. I thought we were past judging the purchasing power of people off how they come in, but hey it’s your commission lost not mine. The staff at Yorkdale and Square One are far more polite and welcoming. Being snooty and acting above others won’t get you anywhere.

This is the 3rd online order in a row that I have attempted with HR in the last 12-months to not be fulfilled by them. There is inventory available onsite, I place my order and pay and then the order sits in "order received status" for days. I had a suspected what was going on based on my past 2 experiences so sent an email inquiring about the delay and received a response of "they're working on it". Three days later with still no movement on the order status or email from them, I called customer service only to be told the order is being cancelled due to lack of inventory....just as I suspected. Clearly HR needs a better inventory control system. I do a ton of on-line shopping and I've not experienced this anywhere else, ever. Once, maybe twice, I could forgive. But three orders in a row is inexcusable. If an item is showing available and you get to the point of adding it to cart and completing payment, the item should be delivered - seems simple enough for other online retailers. To add insult to injury, I told the rep I wanted to escalate my complaint given I have been a good HR client for years but this was the 3rd time in a row with the same issue. She was very nice and understanding and assured me she was immediately copying me on an email to escalate my concern and....surprise, surprise.....no email was ever sent (at least not to me). Guess I will be doing my shopping elsewhere going forward.

As a long-time customer of Holt Renfrew, I've always been impressed by their commitment to customer service. However, my recent experience with Sofia and Emma at the concierge desk truly exceeded my expectations.From the moment I approached the desk, Sofia and Emma were nothing but kind and welcoming. Their knowledge of the store and its offerings was truly impressive. They were able to answer all my questions and even gave me some great product recommendations.What stood out to me was their thoughtfulness. They went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, always with a warm smile. Their hard work and dedication were evident in every interaction. They were not just helpful; they genuinely cared about making my shopping experience the best it could be.I've always loved shopping at Holt Renfrew, but it's the exceptional service from staff like Sofia and Emma that keeps me coming back. Im leaving this review for Gabriela who from my understanding, works in today at sunglasses .Gabriela was truly phenomenal - she’s such a kind-hearted and generous person. She went above and beyond our expectations, and my friend and I truly felt cared for. Would highly recommend Gabriela and would look for her for our future purchases!!!??
