“I always hit Parkdale HH before I try any other place. Staff are super helpful, you can buy screws/nails/washer etc. by piece instead of a whole package, and if they don't have an item in, they'll order it and call you when it arrives.”

“We ordered the Concept Design Parametric Wall Art size 40” x 70” in white MDF. The detailing in the design is flawless and the packing of both crates for the shipment was amazing! We installed it ourselves on a high wall over the staircase. Once we got the 3 panels up it was so easy to place the 68 strips. Each one is numbered! This is definitely a showpiece that we are proud to have in our home. The pictures do not do this justice as it is more beautiful from every angle. With the variation of the shadows in the daytime and with the evening lights, it takes on a whole different look. It is stunning.”

This is my fourth visit to this Home Depot location, and every experience has been excellent. The staff here are consistently professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Whenever I need information or assistance, they take the time to explain everything from scratch and guide me patiently.
In the past, I have interacted with several staff members, including the manager, and everyone has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Today, I visited to purchase painting materials and was especially impressed by Ms. Susan at the paint counter. She provided outstanding support, clearly explained my options, and helped me choose exactly what I needed within my budget. Her guidance made the entire process easy and stress-free.
This is truly Canadian-style customer service at its best, and I feel proud to shop at this location. Highly recommended. WOW!”

These people have no problem looking after contractors and the average consumer. Well stocked store. Damn good lumber yard. You can order all kinds of custom tiles, fixtures and flooring. They have moved all of the business to the Morrow Street location. Pricing is fair and competitive. You want it, they got it.”

“My husband and I had an excellent experience with Melonie in the appliance section yesterday. We went in to purchase a dryer to replace our broken one. Melonie was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us recommendations with space to make a decision without being pushy like some sales people are. She even recommended a product to clean my washer gasket which I appreciated when I brought up a concern to her. Flooring lady was very patient, gave really good advice and also helped me set up a HD credit card and Pro account.
Most of the other departments had friendly and knowledgeable staff and found the time to help me find the items I needed.
The lumber department was the only department not helpful. Instead of cutting something for me they told me to go look for something else instead and walked away. If I found something more suitable I would have. That was the only negative encounter at this location.”

The Home Depot at Gerrard Square is a valuable and convenient stop, especially with plenty of parking in the plaza. The store offers a wide range of home improvement supplies, making it easy to find what you need for most projects.
One downside is that it can be hard to find staff on the shop floor when you need help. You often have to walk around looking for assistance, which can be frustrating. Improving staff visibility or availability would make the experience much smoother.
Overall, it’s a reliable store for selection and convenience, with room for better in-store support.”
“I have been to many stores to find a specific plant, but in vein. On Jan 12, 2026 I came to this RONA store at the southeast corner of Steeles & Markham with a slim of hope. To my surprise, it had the exact plant I wanted. The store manager Trevor greeted me when I stepped into the store and looked around, and he guided me to the section. The cashier Avi was nice as well. He even gave me a discount because the plant was a Xmas item. I had a great experience at RONA thanks to Trevor and Avi.”
