“I needed a lithium battery for my personal home scale. I brought the scale in with me to have someone take a look at the scale and help me with removing the screws from the battery casing on the back of the scale.
The staff understood my problem and assisted me in removing the untreated screws and replacing the lithium battery which I purchased.

“We ordered the Concept Design Parametric Wall Art size 40” x 70” in white MDF. The detailing in the design is flawless and the packing of both crates for the shipment was amazing! We installed it ourselves on a high wall over the staircase. Once we got the 3 panels up it was so easy to place the 68 strips. Each one is numbered! This is definitely a showpiece that we are proud to have in our home. The pictures do not do this justice as it is more beautiful from every angle. With the variation of the shadows in the daytime and with the evening lights, it takes on a whole different look. It is stunning.”

These people have no problem looking after contractors and the average consumer. Well stocked store. Damn good lumber yard. You can order all kinds of custom tiles, fixtures and flooring. They have moved all of the business to the Morrow Street location. Pricing is fair and competitive. You want it, they got it.”

“we just want to shoutout the lady in customer service (we didn’t get her name) who saved our day today at the 2911 Eglington store by going above and beyond and calling us back after she located a box of flooring we desperately needed to finish a flooring job. after having someone search and not find it, she asked someone else to look again after we spoke and went out of her way to find our number and call us back to tell us she found the flooring. she saved us!! we called and searched 5+ different home depot stores from brockville to toronto and needed this missing box to complete our flooring job! ?? ??”

“I go to this store for house needs all the time. Last Sunday I showed up there for some plumbing supply need at store open. First of all the manager was very helpful in calling the person who could help me and so was the attendant. Not only he guided me to the right product but also suggested right product to me. Stupid me didn’t take down their names. It was at 7am Sunday aug 18 and I want to write this review as people are quick to post negative things but do not appreciate positive help (in writing ). Whenever I go to store next time I will update their names but thanks for all the help.”

“Had such a lovely experience here after leaving the Home Depot at Ellesmere. THE STAFF WERE AMAZING AT RONA, and I don't think I will ver go back to home depot. The Rona was brightly lit, clean and better organized...but most importantly was the difference is the customer service. When I got to Rona, I asked for 2 specific things, and instead of just directing you to the aisle, which is what happened to me at home depot, the Rona staff actually walked me to the aisle and helped me with finding the product (and knew where it was) and asked me follow-up questions, which led me to get the prefabricated melamine shelves instead of cutting wood to size to fit a cupboard. which was what I was going to do initially .. but also to then instructed me that after I paid for them, I could also take them to be cut to he morw desired length I wanted.. When I was leaving the store they then by their own accors offered to call an associate to help me load the shelves from my cart in my car, which someone did and also then also offered to take the cart back. At Home Depot, I couldn't even get five employees to break up their conversation to help me when I approached them. This is no shade at all to Home Depot, the difference was simply night and day”
“This is my favourite Home Depot location in Scarborough. Although the Eglington East location is 10 minutes closer to me? I always opt to drive a little further to go here. The customer service is unmatched and very easy-going. They usually have a very good selection as well. I strongly recommend if you are in Scarborough to go to this location.”
“Jeff was amazing with his assistance recently. I visited HD this past Sunday evening (November 3rd) as I required a shower cartridge for my bathroom at home. Jeff provided excellent customer service and assisted me greatly.
The part was not available in store and had to be ordered online. Jeff helped me set up my online account and we ordered the part required. I paid for it in store and the entire process was done in 15 minutes. Delivery will be at my condo in 10-14 days. Easy peasy! And all thanks to Jeff (who usually works in hardware but helped me in plumbing dept.!)
The 2 lady cashiers, however, were not as friendly and helpful when we were cashing out. They seemed more preoccupied in their own conversation than assisting us. They had to actually be called over to assist us when we were standing right there smh.
This will not adversely affect my 5 STAR rating (though I considered it) as Jeff was GREAT! Maybe they should take some service TIPS from Jeff. Thank you Jeff! ?”
