“Around 11 a.m., I went to Yummi Laundry and was promptly helped by a lovely staff member whose name, unfortunately, I forgot to ask.
She was extremely kind, patient, and helpful, and answered all of my questions. I’m Brazilian and my English is not 100% yet, and she helped me so much. She made me feel comfortable and welcomed throughout the entire experience.

“They altered a skirt with a severely worn out elastic by taking out some of the fabric and reinforcing it with a thicker and tigher elastic, and the flowing skirt underneath shows zero signs that it was altered or tampered with.
All in all, I'm VERY impressed with the quality of work and the price was more than reasonable :) $20 for the fix! Very much appreciated and will certainly return for any other cleaning or alteration needs”

Only thing I would recommend is to provide an instructional booklet on etiquette e.g lining up, what to do with people’s clothes who are finished but not present, and the double tap of minutes fiasco”
“Absolutely the best alterations tailor I’ve worked with. Anna has worked on ~15 garments for me and she makes sure to get each one exactly right. She even did a very complex sleeve reconstruction job on my raglan sleeve overcoat.”

She is amazing. Tuet is an excellent seamstress, consistent, creative, and kind. I highly recommend JB Cleaners.”
“Green Cleaners are amazing! This family run store is always transparent with what they can do, their prices and timelines. I’ve gotten formal dress pants and Aritzia effortless pants sewn here and they’ve done an incredible job. I’ve also given them my North Face parka to dry clean and they did a great job there too - it looked brand new!
If you’re looking for a reasonably priced spot - this is it. It helps that the owners and the lady who runs the front desk are such sweet people.

“I dropped off my suit this morning and had a wonderfully pleasant interaction with the staff. She was very friendly and personable. I needed my suit dry-cleaned for a wedding next week and, not being very experienced with dry-cleaning, expected a wait time of up to a week, but it sounds like I'll be able to pick it up by mid-week. I found the price reasonable and would gladly go back with other items in my wardrobe that need a refresh. My only word of caution is that they only take cash, so be careful of that.”

“I recently had a great experience at Dove Auto Detailing. They did my Bronco inside and out and did a fabulous job. They picked up my car from my spot in the Scotia Plaza underground, did a first class job and when finished, put in the reserved spot right across from their location. Mo and Jason were very accommodating and I intend on being a regular client and will do all my cars with them, including waxing and detailing. So easy. You won’t be disappointed.”

“This place is amazing! I took an almost brand new light beige coat in that had gotten a huge stain on the front and when I got it back the coat looked like it could go back on the store mannequin! The lady who runs the place is so kind.. I’ve brought 3 items in since the coat, one was a gorgeous vintage jacket with torn lining on the inside and I was so sure it would be impossible to fix.. she not only fixed it but you can’t even tell it ever ripped! Every time I bring something in to be fixed she takes the time to show me what she wants to do and then asks me if I’m okay with it. I’ve never experienced that before! Usually they just take the item and do what they think is best. The fact that she cares about her customers enough to include them in the decision making is something I’ve never experienced before. The pricing is pretty comparable to other places I’ve been. I would highly recommend this place if you live in the area and want a reliable dry cleaner/seamstress. I’ve attached photos of the coat that is now spotless, and the one of the jacket where the lining ripped.”
“They are awesome. I had my Christmas Party to go to and needed my suit dry cleaned the same day. Owner not only got my suit clean for the party, they offered to have it delivered to me because I was working. This was on a Saturday. Customer service was beyond exceptional, the suit looked amazing and I was very fortunate they could do this for me at the last minute. 12/10 stars. I would definitely recommend Glenforest Cleaners to anyone in the area or that’s looking for a same day service.”
“Short break in Toronto, I stay not far from the laundry and thanks to other reviews I came here for my clothes. Clean and tidy, many cars available. Unfortunately there are not many instructions but by explaining that I am a foreigner and that I had never used a laundry, the cleaning staff were available to explain to me how to use the machines and how to purchase the detergent. I highly recommend!”
“Recently did my laundry at QSL because my old laundromat closed. The machines are pretty clean and prices are reasonable. They actually sanitize their washers monthly and offer same day, wash and fold service. I think they will pick up and drop off your laundry too. This is my new spot for laundry days.”

“It was clean and quiet up until around 9pm. I'm certain because of the street parking being free at 9pm. Almost forgot what it was like to use coin laundry until I came here. Nail salon and pastry shop across the street but you have to come before 9pm since they close by then. Good to know where a friend does their laundry.”
