Went in to ask if I could change some toonies into loonies for my washing machine as I live around the corner and there wasn’t a better place to go for this. A woman with brown hair rather short and squat was very rude to me when I asked if I could change some coins she rudely replied buy something first. I have gone there countless times to do the same thing and have never been talked to so rudely. After that the security guard had his eyes on me the entire time as if I was trying to steal something. I bought one beer and was finally able to get a few coins changed into loonies by a lovely older man. If you go to this lcbo avoid the short squat woman with brown hair she won’t be helpful at all and will leave you feeling awful.

Maintain a similar approach for everyone. Couriers are also an important customer base for you.

Great staff service in spite of a very busy day and a long lineup. Not a huge location but the store has a good selection nonetheless and available parking.

"under renovation" now and they have hidden 90% of the white wine. Still has one extremely crazy woman working there. Not a place anyone would go to if it wasn't a monopoly

Today I ran in to grab a bottle of tequila with my wife and she was refused service becauise her driver's license (showing her age with a picture etc.) didn't have the accompanying paper with the renewal information. Because she was refused service I also could not buy the bottle because she had been refused. My wife and are are both over 40 years old, so not raelly a touch and go call here. I have seen this same cashier give a hard time to countless other customers over the years - she is a relentless stickler for the rules by the absolute letter of the law. In fact I frequent this store as little as possible becaise of her. As I was in the area for something else I thought what could possibly happen for just picking up a bottle. Now I know...what a joke! And of course they had to back her up as "technically she stood on the side of by the book policy". Basically they had to side with their employee although they knew it was ridiculous. This is the type of person who would only be hired and supported in the public sector - a private sector employer would not tolerate her frequent terrible level of customer service (read plenty of other reviews on this same store as proof of what I am saying lol). Although the LCBO is a monolopoly and we have no other options as to where to buy alcohol, at least there are now plebnty of other close by outlets from which to buy. Good bye and good riddance once and for all to y'all at the LCBO at Dupont and Spadina!!

I had for got my lock to my scoter and tucked it in between the doorways completely out of the way. Ad which point a very rude woman came out yelling me and telling me to leave the store. I spoke to the manager and as he was quite professional and civil he gave me some nonsense liability excuse (the floor was wet with no sign. I would have been in and out in under 3 minutes. This is a store Owen by the government of Ontario who I am a tax paying resident of. This is utter nosense. I will be emailing the lcbo regarding this woman’s behavior. I will also recommend that we all take our fillers to the beer store or wine wrack this just proves that the system in our province is broken. We’re a free market country why do I have to stand in a bread line to by beer and then be accosted by a grumpy dad like person marking a living wage in retail. Be happy for what you have lots of people do t get cushy union cashier jobs for well above minimum wage.Up dateThe beer store let me bring it in cause they aren’t a bunch of faiscists

Cashier held me up for close to half an hour because of her inability to comprehend that my ID said I was indeed of legal age to purchase alcohol

The old lady with blonde hair and dark glasses is one of the most unfriendly servers I’ve encountered. Not only to me, but the person in front of me. I walked right out of that store because of her attitude. I’ll take my business somewhere else.
