My bag zip broke after 6 month of wear and I went in for a repair. I was told I need to pay in order to get it fixed. I refused that and the staff finally agreed to have it replaced for free but when I went to pick it up, I was told I need to pay again. I had to explain that it was agreed when I drop off the bag that the replacement will be done for free. Then the staff agreed to not charge me. But the repair was not done well. My original zip has a piece leather strip hanging down and new zip is just a plain zip. The staff are not engaging when I have my repair done since I’m not contributing any sales to them. No smile or anything. Not good experience.

Went to Longchamp, long waiting line, an old lady behind us keeps complaining about a poor Asian lady who is sitting in the store; she keeps nagging about why people just come here for browsing only (puff, so snoopy). Finally, a white male staff named Brian took us from the line, and after less than 2 minutes of conversation, the nagging lady comes to the store. As soon as Brian saw them, he just ditched us and ran for his favorite customer. Later on, another staff member told me it was because Brian had helped them before. I was left there full of confusion and anger. I'm okay with someone helping me, but at least have the courtesy to ask for my consent. I also noticed that Brian looks very delighted when he is serving people who are the same race as him. Based on the fact that he ditched me for a Caucasian family after two minutes of conversation without even knowing my needs, I can't help but wonder: does he always treat Asian clients like this? An explanation needs to be provided for his behavior. The manager should delve into his staff's professionalism and thoroughly read those comments.

We went to the Long champs store to buy a couple of bags for friends at Christmas. Brian was amazing. Our visit, even though the mall was a mad house was above and beyond. We bought 2 la pilage , 1 small pouch, our bill was so low, under 600.00, and were still treated very, very well. I didn't get snobby or rude at all. I'll make the trip to Yorkdale as opposed to buying online going forward. The bags are the best. I have xl, Lge and medium Lapillage. I'm buying leather next. Thanks again Brian!

snobby sales associates who act like their above customers when in reality your working retail so humble yourselves. don't act like you are the owners of the long champ, in your delusional dreams.

The apathetic nature of the sales people in this store makes me realize why ALL of my Longchamp bags were bought at Nordstrom and elsewhere. Even walking in with one of their bags on your arm (or a much higher end purse) will not attract even the slightest bit of the customer service one would expect from this brand. I hope Longchamp cares more about their image than customers walking out of the store due to being ignored or just given attitude when asking about products and availability.

Had a great experience with the sales ambassador Brian. He’s extremely kind and helped me pick the right bag. I am very happy with my first longchamp purchase and with Brian’s customer service!

Amazing service and beautiful store. First time visiting a boutique since I always bought it from the airport. They have a huge collection. Visited this past Sat, and it was already very busy in the store at 11AM. Unfortunately the store was under-staffed, but the Asian male associate was very calm and was able to serve 5 clients all at the same time, and still creating a happy experience for me and my wife. Bought a Roseau leather handbag, and the male associate tell us the whole story about the collection.

Me and my daughter went to Yorkdale mall today for a “girls day out”. My girl is always curious and energetic, and she could be rough sometimes. We went to different stores in the malls, from mainstream to premium brands. I know that having a 4 year old touching different things may not be very nice especially for the high end stores. So I tried my best to keep her calm and gentle. She knocked something off at Longchamp today but the Asian gentleman staff there was very kind and patient with her. That, was one of the best experiences we had today. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks.

The lady helping us was rude and snobby. Short hair with glasses. I wish she was more welcoming and friendly. Horrible customer service. No conversation whatsoever, just felt like she wanted a sale.

Buyer Beware. Worst shopping experience of my life.My wife bought 2 handbags as gifts for my sister and daughter. There were no issues with the transaction. They asked for my wife's information, and they created a profile for her on the computer. One day after Boxing Day, we were by chance at the outlet and my sister decided to exchange her handbag with one of a different color. We did not have the receipts with us at the time, but we had them at home. They utterly refused to do any kind of exchange on the grounds that the sale had been a final sale with no return and no exchange. The problem is that, at the time of purchase, nobody had told us it was a final sale and there was no sign on display anywhere in the store to caution buyers. I would never buy an expensive gift for a family member if it cannot be exchanged or returned. To make matters worse, when they looked up my wife's name in their system, she was not there. I asked to speak to the manager, but he/she refused to come out, at least, according to the assistant manager, who went to fetch him/her. The sales lady who had been very kind and helped us select the gifts 2 weeks earlier was present, but she kept a blind eye to what was happening, trying to ignore us as much as she could. After a heated discussion with the assistant manager, where I showed her the transactions on my Mastercard, she agreed to do an exchange. When we arrived home, i looked at the receipt and indeed, the sales lady had stamped on the top of the receipt: Final Sale. No exchange. No return. In Summary, First, the person who had sold us the bags never told us it was a final sale. She just stamped it on the receipt and hid the receipt in the shopping bag. Second, she pretended to input my wife's profile into their system, but she never did, making us look foolish and untrustworthy. Third, she totally ignored us when we were arguing with the assistant manager, trying to prove that we had actually bought the hand bags there. Not the shopping experience you would expect from a supposedly high-end handbag designer.

I just received my longchamps city tote taupe in medium. It was an online purchase. I was having such a hard time with my previous purchase which was cancelled at the last minute due to stock availability. So I made a second purchase only to find that the colour I chose wasn’t available either. So I called the Yorkdale store after I had received an email. Grace offered me the navy tote instead. She said she would check if another shipment might have the taupe then I could exchange in the near future.Well I was lucky because Rebecca received the shipment and confirmed with me the tote was in stock the next day. Problem solved. Fast and efficiently.I’m going on vacation to South Africa for 6 weeks tote in hand. Thanks to Grace and Rebecca for your professional service over the phone. You both are an asset to LONGCHAMPS.

Got my first Longchamp bag today and we had an absolutely amazing experience in the store because of Brian. He was patient, showed us different options and just very kind. Definitely will be back! And thanks again :)
