Writing this review after countless texts and emails encouraging me to “share my experience”. The 5 star reviews are fake. The shop offers discount if you provide a 5 star review.
I booked an appointment for an oil change Saturday morning at 9am. When I arrived I explicitly told the manager that I only wanted an oil change and did not want them to perform the check of air filter, battery, coolant etc. At 9:45am, the manager brings me to the shop to show me that my vehicle “is completely out of coolant”. This was completely false as they were pointing to the overflow reservoir. When the vehicle was lowered from the hoist I opened the coolant fill cap to show them that they were wrong (coolant level was perfect), to which the tech agreed.
Finally, I arrived home only to realize the tech did not put the engine cover back on my motor. I had to drive back to the shop to retrieve this.
I will not be a returning customer.

Please make sure to do your research before getting a battery replacement. Today, I trusted the brand recognition of Midas and received a quote for a 12V battery (Pro Series) for my Lexus RX Hybrid. While the market price for this part is around $279, Midas quoted me $504(same one)for the battery alone, bringing the total to $724 including labor and tax.
After returning home, I realized the massive price difference and protested. They lowered the price to $654 (including tax), claiming it was the best they could do since the owner wasn't there. And thier company policy can not reduce the price of battery. They also acted as if they were doing me a favor by offering a 5-year parts warranty, only for me to find out later that the warranty was already included with the battery itself.
I blame myself for trusting their brand name, and quick response. I later found out that CAA (AAA) offers the same type of battery replacement for $380 (members) or $405 (non-members), including on-site service with labor and part. I don't believe a business managed this way by the owner and staff will last long. Do your homework before you visit. Be smart yourself!!
