Why are all the apples bruised? Nice staff though. Produce isn't worth prices. Prefer Foodrama

Convenient location but they never stock any “main” sale items from their flyer. I saw a merchandiser stocking up the meat section but they didn’t have any of the sale item on their cart. Strange, because they were stocking the same product but specifically the sizes that were not on sale (they just walked out from the butcher section with a full cart). Asked the employee and they told me that it’s out of stock. Understandable if the store receives the items pre-packed from their supplier but they pack the meats in-store… I noticed before that they never carried sale items but this experience really confirmed it.TL;DR: Go there for convenience, not their sale.

My go to place when I need to make a quick stop for groceries or anything home related! Really well laid out and you can be in and out within minutes.

For its location and size, the store staff do a great job at consistently trying to make the shopping experience better. For example, they've implemented a sort of traffic director person for the post-work/pre-dinner rush. Simple and mindful efforts like this can and do go a long way. That said, if you're going in looking for 5-star service and products at a 3-star price, you'll likely be disappointed. But for getting most groceries, especially the perishables that you don't want to buy in bulk, Mike's has been my go-to when in Toronto.

Small and compact but with more than enough items, well stocked, veggies are fresh, many items to choose from the hot food section.Veggie and fruit organic offers aren’t that many but it’s better than nothing, location is convenient and the store hours are fantastic (the best part for me!)

It is well stocked, clean and overall nice to shop at. My go-to store for many things. There are some items which are very overpriced though. Some items, like sink drain cleaner for example - cost 3x times more than at the dollar store across the street. Anything up to 2x would be acceptable for me, but 3x is pushing it.Hams and cheese are also overpriced - 500g of feta cheese costing 14 dollars got me confused.Overall, a pretty good market if you're willing to compromise on the prices of specific overpriced items, or just get them somewhere else.

Had potato wedges for lunch. Was lukewarm. It's better tasting when drenched in ketchup.

I don’t know if it’s the problem for all Independent City Market stores, but promotion listed on the flyers are too often non-existent in this store. Note that flyers are store-specific hence it is not that the promotions don’t apply in this store. And it is not always the case that they run out of the respective products as the store still sells them, sometimes just in a slightly different form (e.g. smaller packages) and at a higher price. I wonder if they even order in the items on sales as what are the odds that I never find them? If it is just a marketing strategy then it’s a deceitful and dishonest one.

A nice supermarket that meets the vast majority of anyone's grocery needs. Friendly staff. Fresh produce and baked goods. Expansive hot food offerings. Opens 7 days a week and almost 365 days a year. Also offers online ordering and pick-up options.EDIT: Not an east feat to lose 2 stars in one day due to an employee giving me an attitude today.

Never has baked beans, really weird. Will edit when he buys baked beans. Edit he got baked beans also good ones! Double edit loses one star as the people on checkout don’t pack your bags if it’s your own bag thus rendering their purpose to literally scanning your items which I can do myself! Pointless human!

Good spot. I live nearby and I only shop there when I’m in a rush otherwise I gladly walk 30 mins to Whole Foods since most employees here have an attitude. One of them bumped me with a shopping cart today when I was in line to pay and did not care to turn around or apologize.
