Our move included a number of steps - inner city Toronto - 1.5 hr travel to a small rural town, with a pick up enroute, all done in a timely manner, and in good humour! “If I could give them 10 stars I would - I have never, EVER had any move go so smoothly. I contracted Armando Movers to load a shipping container for my mum. Amandino (owner) came by and checked everything we had to ensure it would fit in the container. He was exceptionally courteous and helpful. He told us what materials would be ideal for us to have on hand and how to get everything prepared. He told us where to ensure the container was placed so that access was easiest for loading. When the day of the container getting loaded came, they were there on time and ready to go - they were exceptionally efficient and had all the materials they needed to load everything - they first travelled to my house to pick up stuff I had at my house then took it to my mum's house where they moved my stuff from their truck to the container and proceeded to move everything into the container - they worked through cold, rain, and didn't stop for anything - they were amazing. I will recommend them to everyone who I care about because I've never had such an amazing experience. All the stress was gone, all the nerves were gone - everything got loaded properly - they showed us scratches and dents on things before they moved them to ensure we knew they were there and that it wasn't any fault of theirs - I have no complaints - there was nothing they did that needed correction - their work ethic was impeccable and when I move, I will be hiring them again. Thank you Amandino and team for your amazing work!”
“Had a very good moving experience with Romario and Ronaldo, who were efficient and worked within tight time constraints imposed by elevator booking schedules. They took good care of our furniture and it arrived in great shape. I particularly liked that they didn't charge extra like other companies for moving items like fridges or larger furniture. “Honestly I had heard horror stories of moving companies, blown estimates, people taking your stuff hostage, etc etc (see cbc special on this which is scary).Didn't have any issues with this company. The quote system was insanely easy over the phone, the team was right on time, wasted no time, worked hard, put stuff to protect the floors, and the estimate (even though we had more stuff than initially I had mentioned ) never went above what was mentioned.I would 100 percent use them again at this point. Better to deal with a bigger more reputable company than to sign up for a cheaper service and be in for huge surprisesdown the line.”
