I’ll ignore all the bad reviews here and tell you my genuine experience.
They are amazing, sweet and genuine people. I live about 3 minutes walk away from the store and the lady always treats me with so much love and respect.
She always ends up giving me cookies or candies.

This store does not comply with accessibility standards and the older woman working watched me struggle with the door instead of helping at all and then told us we wouldn't fit. Abhorrent behaviour.

RACIST, RUDE OWNERS. Don’t shop here, they are racist disrespectful people. If you are a person of colour, they will follow you around the store and will they will accuse you of shoplifting. 0 STARS

I have been to a lot of convenience stores throughout the GTA but this one always seems to be racial profiling, i don’t live too far from this store but whenever i am walking past it I’d run in there to see if they have anything i am craving. I am a very quiet respectable person, I was walking around the store to see if they had what i was looking for and they didn’t. The daughter now gets up and start to follow me around i had asked her if i should excuse myself and she aggressively yelled at me and from there i knew she was racial profiling me.I then asked her how does she expect to run a business with this behaviour, she told me to never come back there. I walked towards the exit and she started speed walking towards the same direction i said “ma’am I am not stealing i am making my way out your door” I told her that she’s unprofessional and racist because that’s what she is, i know numerous of people who’ve had the same problem with them. I understand people steal but if that was the case she could’ve called the police or kick me out but no she wanted to show her true colours. I’m so disgusted but i am never surprised at this behaviour, they do this with my 62 year old grandma i hope they learn how to properly respect people & handle matters like this. Why are people still like this in todays world ? Seek the right help you obviously need.

very rude and gruff. I went in there to get milk and asked him how much the milk was and after he responded to me rudely and the over the top price I walked out never to return for anything and I live only a few houses down the street. I have dealt in customer service with the federal government and we have been taught how to treat clients. This establishment is not a sterling example of that. Never again.P.s. as an addendum to this review - it gets worse. As the variety store 1 block east of Mr. Convenience was closed and my bus stop is in front of Mr. Convenience, I went in there yet again to buy LottoMax tickets. The person behind counter was ok yet was rushing me to buy tickets. Secondly when I asked where the Lotto stand was, there were no pens or sheets to fill out just the wee stand at front of the store. She asked me how many tickets I wanted and I said 2. I wanted to fill out the numbers myself which I normally do but I wasn't given the chance. She immediately printed up the tickets and gave them to me. When I asked to pay by debit, she had conveniently - conveniencely? - forgot to tell me that there was an extra $.50 charge to use debit!! there was no signage to indicate same and begrudgingly paid and walked out. I understand this isn't the most well to do area in the city with The Stop food bank right across the way and government housing across the street but it's sad not to think that this store is taking advantage of the lack of choice in the area and the general state of the clients that frequent it. Sad, sad, sad and I will never ever again enter this business again - and this time I willmake the trip down the block to the grocer however far it is to get what I need.

Not sure what the deal is with the other reviews but I’ve only had great experiences here. The staff have always been friendly and helpful to me. They stock some unique snacks and sodas as well ?

I have lived in this area for 25 years and have always gone to Mr.Convenience ever since i was a little girl. Before the owner ( the dad hes now the oldest gentlemen that you will see there) was alot more friendlier but as time passed the whole family became extremely cold.They are not patient, with customers always yelling, and rushing you to buy products to quickly get out of the store.They want everyone to wear a mask which is fine with covid regulations but even if you enter the store WHILE putting on a mask they kick you out.The daughter is nice on some days but now she is very uptight and the family itself has become extremly rude.At time shopping in the store i have been closely monitored as if i was going to steal something which is sad because i have been shopping there my whole life.I don't recommend going to this store.
