As a collector for over 50 years there was no other shop that I felt comfortable selling my Golden and Silver age books too.
The collection consisted of every Atlas, National/DC, and Marvel key issues from 1950 to 1968.
Many of the Milestone books like Fantastic Four #1, Amazing Fantasy #15, Showcase #4, and Hulk #1, I purchased directly from the owner Peter Dixon. A nice complete loop selling them back to him.
If you are in the market for buying or selling your comics or just looking for the next best new comic, this store has what you need.
I feel comfortable saying my experiences through the decades talking comics or pondering the universe with Peter make the Paradise Comics experience like home.
I do regret selling my first print Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1, maybe one day I could buy it back - lol

Such a wonderful store! Peter and Christina have done such a great job with the decor and style. THIS is how comic book shops should look. And they always have high quality books. I love shopping with them.

This great Comic Store has a large selection of wall books and graded books for all to see. We are not into slabs, however, we love digging through the long boxes and finding issues that fill in the gaps in our collections. Peter and his lovely wife are a pleasure to chat with, and they are very nice people. ??

I had the pleasure of meeting Peter and Kristina of Paradise Comics when they came to evaluate my comic collection. Peter's knowledge of all different types of comics is second to none. I really wanted to like this place. I'm a child of the 80s and am earning a good income to let me buy comics that I always wanted so when I cam across paradise I thought great, they're in my city with good selection but after 3 purchass I don't want anything to do with them as they are don't operate like a reliable business; no response to calls or emails, no updates on purchases, lying to me when I actually do catch someone live and the constant need to followup bc if I didn't I dont have any confidence that my orders would have been processed. I'm sure they're a good store if you walk in and buy something but beyond that I just had terrible experiences. I've turned to ebay and at least I know when my order is enroute and when I'll get it.

Friendly staff. It's a good place to go for new Marvel and DC trade paperbacks. There are lots of boxes filled with older comics for those that like to crate dive. The two shar pei dogs will greet you and flump down in front of their recommended books to buy. There's a small toy section worth the visit if you have small kids.
