Amazing store and helpful staff. My foster cat had a finicky food allergy and the staff helped me look through all the foods they offered to find the perfect one. It wasn’t an easy task but they never lost patience. I’ve been a regular since. Some of them even offered advice about my cat’s behaviour. They’re truly pet loving staff. Have seen many faces but all were equally pleasant.
And the location+hours is an even bigger bonus.

The Pet Valu unit at young is, in my opinion, one of the best. Great service from all the employees, a good variety of products in all categories, including accessories, food, hygiene products and others.
The store is very spacious and always very organized.
In addition to all this, they have a great professional groomer, but you can also bathe your pet by renting the space and products. The establishment is close to the St Clair Est metro station and several shops.
For customers with disabilities, unfortunately the store does not have access ramps (it has steps to access the first floor) and does not have doors that open and close automatically.

So grateful for the staff at Pet Valu! I’m fostering a nervous puppy who pulls very hard on walks. I went it in to get a face halty but the staff - Treasure and Eduardo - took the time to help me find what I needed. They suggested a body halty would be better if the issue was pulling. They helped me find the right size and even showed me how to put it on my dog. And they were right! It works like a dream. They were also very sweet and attentive to my nervous pup and all around helpful. Thank you for your excellent customer’s service, the personal and kind care is so appreciated these days.

My mum and I were visiting Toronto and happened to walk past this store. We ended up finding a cute little outfit for our family dog, and we had such a laugh with the shop assistant - I think his name was Treasure. He was so friendly and really helped us decide what outfit to get ? he asked us to share a photo of our dog in the outfit when we got back home, so here she is in all her glory!

To whom this concerns,
Went into the store on my way home from the fruit store to get bully stick for my pup, this was in the morning of may 29th, 2024. The employee told me that the bland sticks were better and when I asked why he said “idk, the vet next door said that”. In sales if you don’t know don’t say it you lose credibility. I know what my pup likes as my trainer who has 20+ years experience told me what to get. I decided after to look at puppy toys. The same employee kept following me around and watching me as if I was going to steal something. This made me incredibly uncomfortable almost to the point of me leaving and not getting anything. I should say that I reluctantly made my purchase. I will not be coming back.

Have visited this location several times and always had great, friendly service. Today I went in to grab a few items and did not receive a basic level of customer service.First I was told they don't do tax exemptions (incorrect).When I mentioned it has been applied at every other visit I was told only a supervisor can apply discounts.When I asked what happens in emergencies and who they would call I was told they could try but no one would answer.When I asked what the solution is, they said I could coming back another time and were already putting the items back on the shelf and acted as if my purchase was irrelevant.I'm still in disbelief at the laziness shown especially when every other time I've gone to this location the other staff members have all been awesome.Unfortunate because now I won't be able to guarantee getting any service or the ability to make purchases apparently.There are other places with better prices and selection but this place is local with usually friendly, helpful staff. Oh well.

I recommend this location over all others because of the current owner. They made a huge effort to have more mentally stimulating puzzles for dogs, and expanded their frozen treat selection for dogs. You can’t get half this stuff at other Pet Values. The staff is also very helpful and pleasant every time I go in with my dog.
