I was in this store a few weeks back and was looking for some new food for my elderly cat. When my husband and I asked for some direction from staff they were very unhelpful and did not seem eager to help. We had asked some younger looking employees for insight but they seemed to have little to no knowledge about cats. They spoke to us in quite a rude and disrespectful manner especially the girl with ginger hair and glasses. We are very displeased in the service and will not be returning to this location. Your employees need to be taught how to talk to people in a respectful manner and hire people that will know the answers to your questions.

DOGGY DAY CAMP/DAYCARE: Unfortunately I witnessed the daycare worker spraying dogs with a water bottle. I believe this is a tactic to correct the dogs. Some dogs were sitting there shaking and hiding. Other dogs staring at the door waiting for their owners. Please stand at the window and evaluate the level of care your dog is receiving. And if you notice your dog has anxiety now from being sprayed or seeing this happen, you now know why đ I stood there for 6 mins and witnessed it multiple times. 1 worker, 10+ dogs.
I also will consider calling Corporate as this is clearly not an individual choosing to use adverse training methodsâ it must be told to them to do this (in my opinion).

Very unprofessional service at grooming salon. Staff donât seem to care about pets, and probably share the same feeling towards humans too.

BEWARE! THEY WONâT TELL YOU HOW YOUR DOGS REACTS TO BEING GROOMED AND WRONGLY RECOMMEND TRAZODONE! I have taken my dog, Zoey, here about 5-6 times. Each time the groomer has let us know that Zoey is a âlittle anxiousâ and doesnât like her front paws being worked on but will do his best. No problem. Last time the groomer said that maybe she would be more comfortable during her groom if I gave her some trazodone. Today for our appointment, I gave Zoey a small dose of trazodone before her appointment and brought her in. This time, someone new was grooming her and refused to take her after letting us know that they do NOT recommend trazodone before grooms because most dogs will be so sleepy they canât work on them and THEN shared that it had been put in her notes that she is SO anxious during her appointments that she SCREAMS the entire time and itâs recommended that she only be groomed by a vet. WHY WAS THIS FEEDBACK NEVER SHARED WITH ME SO I CAN MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION FOR MY DOG. I used to take my dog to a fancy groomer downtown and they NEVER had any problems with her. The lady I spoke to says the ânotesâ do not have to be shared with the pet owners and rather are for the groomers. WHY WOULD THE OWNER NOT WANT THAT INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR DOG?! If Iâm not there I canât see how she behaves! So now not only have I given my dog drugs at their recommendation and canât have my dog groomed for the holidays, but the groomers here could have created a serious anxiety problem in my dog by continuing to take her and work on her while she âscreamedâ. I would have taken her back to her old place RIGHT AWAY if I knew she was acting like that during her grooms at PetSmart because clearly something is off. Iâm SO upset and will be escalating this further.

Ruby, this is unacceptable. You did not cut my Yorkieâs hairâyou barely trimmed it, and even âtrimâ isnât the right word. Sonya was not available, and you were the only groomer available, so I expected the job to be done properly. We paid for a regular grooming and chose #5 length in your chart. you shaved only the back while leaving the paws, head, and chest long. This looks uneven and unprofessional. This is extremely disappointing.

Iâm really disappointed with the experience I had at this PetSmart location. I booked an appointment on Monday for my dogâs grooming (haircut, wash, etc.), and the staff member even confirmed the time and gave me the address. On Tuesday, I took an Uber Pets - spent around $22 one way -to bring my dog in.
When I arrived, I was told that I didnât have an appointment. I showed them the call history, duration, and the number I spoke to, but they still denied it completely. There was no apology, no ownership, and no attempt to help. Because of their mistake and lack of professionalism, I ended up spending nearly $50 just on transportation for nothing.
Extremely unprofessional experience and no remorse shown by the staff. Very disappointed.

Not a single time have I been to this place and not have to wait a ridiculous amount even with being second in line at the register at the cash because there always seems to be a problem and the typically only have one person at the front .

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. My dog was severely injured by a groomer, requiring emergency anesthesia and surgery on her tongue. I cannot stress this enough. This happened due to negligence and Petsmart not providing adequate safety protocols, training and support to make sure dogs are safe. We trusted our care to be kept safe in their care, and she was not. Animals do not understand grooming tools or safety protocols, humans do. And itâs their job to make sure the animal is unharmed - if for whatever reason there are challenges in doing so, they should modify aspects of the grooming process. Our dog was returned home to us from a random emergency vet clinic that Petsmart sent her to, without us, with blood caked on to her body and a 2 week post-op treatment plan that is causing our family and our dog great emotional (and for our dog, physical) distress

The groomers here are always great and on time, they love your pets and treat them kindly. Manuel gave my dog the perfect haircut - will be requesting him from now on!
