I love rowe Farms. However, I went by today at 10:15 a.m., and the store wasn't open yet. I'm kind of disappointed. Although it said on the door that their hours are 10am-7 pm.
On a positive note, they do have the best whipped tallow cream I've found so far. The lavender one is the one I would recommend

Totally inhuman staff treated us like we were unwelcome to shop there. No smiles. No help offered when we asked about what steaks they had and where the pork cuts were. We had to find them ourselves. No shopping basket was offered. I placed the bags of four kilos of different meats on one table and the store scowling manager barked at me telling me that the cash register was at the other end. Well there was no cashier there to let me know. At checkout, the manager was still gruff and scowling. We are NEVER going to shop at Rowe Farms or buy their products ever again!!! SANAGANS is the total opposite. Totally wonderful to shop at SANAGANS!!!

Dear Cory - please have a professional editor review the emails you send out to your "valued" customers. You latest one is too long, full of worn out and tired euphemisms as well as exceedingly condescending to those whose feedback you profess to be listening to. Put down the sustainability holistic thesaurus and write in plan English. Please!

Extremely disappointing location. Ungraded NY strips for $28 each?! The butcher admitted that they do sell local, ungraded beef.

not the best prepared food, marinades were off. easy on the salt with marinades please! meats aren’t that great quality, with not much diversity on meat. for the inventory that is there, most of the stuff is pretty pricy.

You should avoid the online order and delivery service. I've made 2 attempts and each time received no product or refund. Luckily I was able reverse the credit card charge through my bank. RF head office was unhelpful and cavalier. I've been a regular patron at the Leslieville and Danforth locations since they opened.

You can buy meat that is in excellent quality at this store. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the meat that you get. I highly recommend coming here for all your meat shopping!

The turkey itself was great, just unfortunate that communication wasn't honest during the pre-ordering process. I had initially placed an order well in advance for a medium turkey and had requested to have it switched to a small, as there were less guests eating meat, and was told that this would not be a problem.I was then still charged for the medium size and when I followed up to confirm the size I was receiving, I was told the bird was just above 14 lbs, so I was fine to still pay the price range in the medium size. When I received the turkey, I saw that the size I received was just over 17 lbs and not at all close to "just above 14 lbs" so I'm a little disappointed at the lack of honesty, as I was less concerned about price and more concerned about having too much turkey that was going to be way more than I needed for Thanksgiving. If my change couldn't be accommodated at the start, I would much rather have been told that this was not possible, and I would have been just as happy to just pay for the original medium size that I ordered.

Very helpful staff on my visit this past Wednesday. Prices going up seemingly every day though. Becoming tough for my family to shop there.

I ordered a Christmas turkey well in advance for pick up. Quality is great and staff were kind, but was disappointed when I arrived they did not have the size category I ordered. Had to take one much too large for what I needed. Suggest you don't offer three sizes if you can't fulfill the order.

Wow! I don't get out much so I was surprised to see there is a Rowe Farms location right in my neighbourhood. The store is small but has an excellent selection, including my favourite feta cheese from Crosswind Farm, which is very hard to find. I also bought some Marty's dill pickles and a Piano Piano frozen pizza (they have Libretto too!). Glad I stopped in. I'll definitely be back for a roasted chicken - they look great. Prices are fair for what you get. Shoutout to Lukas B. who was helpful and friendly but not intrusive.

We order online, for delivery the next day. Highest quality products, and great service. We'll never buy chicken or meat anywhere else. And I like that I can add to my order in the morning of the day of delivery. We highly recommend.
