Would give 0 stars if I could, the bank and branch do not give consistent advice, being sent on a wild goose chase where when you call they say you need to go in person and when you go in they say you need to call. Do not bank with Scotiabank if you have literally any other options.

They really need to train their staff better, they closed one of my chequing accounta and forgot to link it to another account so I left with a card that I cannot do anything on it, only realized that when i tried to withdraw cash from the ATM. I had to go back and waited a second time in the line, only to let them tell me that my card was no longer valid, and they had to request a new card! They the manager took the process from there, it turned out that I needed to change to a new card, change the card number for online banking etc…So never trust their work and always double check by yourself!

Really great service, victor is very helpful. It tooks a lot of time to reset and sign in to my online banking. It was long process. He did it with patience. Thankyou for good service.

I value good service, and get that from the Branch Staff at my financial institution. Lineups? Only some of the time, and wait time is more minimal. ???

Good Scotiabank Branch near Donlands Subway Station. I went to this scotia bank branch today to change my plan from basic bank account to basic plus bank account. Earlier it was costing me about 3.95$ every month. New plan costs about $11.95 every month, but if I keep minimum $3000 in my checking account, the monthly fee is not deducted. It was a good experience visiting this branch. I also had to withdraw some cash from the bank. I went to this branch at about 4 pm today evening. It only took me about half an hour to change my plan and withdraw the cash.

The tellers are useless. The guy cashed my cheque wrong, didn't apologize, told me I'd be getting my money the correct way it'll just take a few weeks, only for a few weeks to come and a different teller to tell me I need a brand new chequeHonestly a garbage branch

I'm disappointed, I'm very disappointed from this branch. If it's an option there for negative Stars I will give it to them !!!!
They are very rude very disrespectful and very racist. They are very mean to everyone customer.
My advice to you guys please stay away from this branch. And if you try to say something to them they going to make your life miserable. The branch manager block my account for Christmas !!!!!!

The service here is abysmal. If you need any kind of banking done in person, go anywhere else. I haven’t been able to open a ‘first’ savings account for my daughter. You need to make an appointment and they’ll only meet you during the work week. I’m at work and my daughter is at school. I then needed to make a large withdrawal and I called ahead to make sure I could. No luck of course. When I called and was told to go in it turns out I was talking to a call center, even though I looked up the phone number of the specific branch, and when the phone answering machine picked up, it told me that I had called the correct branch. When I went in to get the cash, I was told in a patronizing fashion that the sum I wanted was too big, and I needed to make an order, as if I would know that ahead of time. I could go into other details about trying to buy a GIC under my daughter’s , And having to go in twice before the clerk realized that you can’t buy a GIC unless you’re over 18. How did they not know that the first time?Obviously, there is no training on product or Yuen customer service at this branch. Thus if you need anything, I highly recommend you go literally anywhere else.

Lost my debit card around the area last Saturday, couldn’t get a hold with fraud department for 5 minutes and was like 2 minutes away from the branch so I thought I could’ve just drop by the branch and lock the card. Branch was kinda understaffed, long line, someone was waiting on the phone and one of the teller had to come to pick up the phone while serving another customer and told the person on the phone to wait (kinda unprofessional leaving your customer on the spot but yeah again, understaffed).Anyways, I told them I lost my card, provided the details to access my banking, nbd since I am the account holder so it was ezpz. I made sure that my debit card is locked and asked the teller if there would be any problem using online banking in which they replied there wouldn’t I can use that normally. They even gave me the number (ended with 6842) and told me I can just call that to order a new debit card cause I didn’t have the ID that I used to register the account. Even tell me that can call anytime cause it is 24 hoursCall back this Tuesday with the number they provided, for some reason the number prompted was messed up, I pressed day to day banking but was directed to credit card department, then finally after 20 minutes wasted on the line, I got transferred to a day to day representative, he was so sweet and tried his best to help me but he said that the branch locked my card therefore it is impossible to unlock it online and send a new debit card to my address even I passed all security check, and he was so puzzled that the teller supposed to know about this and inform me before I lock my card. So yeah, he transferred my call to the fraud department, which was the place I supposed to call them from the beginning (different number than whatever the teller gave me btw). Fraud department was also surprised as well (plus explained the teller supposed to know I cannot access online banking because it is linked to the frickin debit card bruh), and told me I could go and try to see a branch nearby would be willing to help me with this or if not, I gotta go back to this branch and ask them to unlock my card (I am at Humber Bay area).In the end, things sorted out (amazing teller from Lakeshore helped me btw) but this shows how incompetent bank teller at this location. Probably the only good thing about this is that the branch is so close to major metro line so yeah, accessible but incompetent staff would give you false information… ???Usually don’t leave 1 star reviews but this left a sour taste that made me reconsider switching my banking after this
