My dog LOVES the array of locally harvested animal parts they offer.

Poor customer service, decent selection. I've had maybe 2 good experiences here out of lots of bad ones. Their staff in general aren't welcoming, or often plain rude. I expected better from a small business on the Danforth.

We used to live close by and they helped us raise our first pup. Moved 20 minutes north west and still make time to travel and shop there….now with our second pup. Knowledgeable staff and quality products. They know all of their sources extremely well and we always have a good time interacting while there. Wouldn’t buy my pig ears, bullies, or kneecaps anywhere else.

Small Wonders has been my go-to pet store for the past 7 years. Staff is helpful, friendly and, most importantly, knowledgeable! Prices are good (some other stores are almost $20 more for the *same* bag of food) and they have always gone above and beyond when it comes to customer service. My pet's bed, leash and collar were all purchased here. Yearly birthday treats are a favourite, as well..... They have a good selection of cute pup-friendly cookies!

Gone in a few times. Always been greeted with smiles and warmth when I pick up catnip. Went in today and the woman on cash (who was very friendly with the people before and after me), refused to look up from the register to engage with me. Did not respond when I said hi how are you. And only spoke to tell me the price. When I said something about what I noticed she was dismissive and rude. Not sure why I was given this treatment. She seemed new to me, as I haven’t seen her there before, but honestly kind of ruined the place for me. 3 stars because in the past I’ve had nothing but good experiences there.

A GREAT asset to the community. Staff are incredible and truly care about your pets. They guided me quite a bit, when I adopted my first cat and struggled to find food that she’d eat. Great toys, supplies, food etc.

I spend $700/month on cat food. I wanted to give this local shop my business but when I called to setup a recurring order they said no and that I'd have to call each week to place the order which would be laborious. It was also handled oddly from a customer service standpoint. They said they wouldn't because"it's not good for their business" in case customers don't show up and they're left with extra stock. First, even if thats the reason, maybe frame it a different way, sounds accusatory like I won't show up, and I mean I'm giving all my info to setup the order so why wouldn't you take the business and see how it goes? If a customer misses 1 week..stop the recurring order? Later they called back and said I could prepay to do this (which I would have been fine with if they has of proposed that VS talking about how its bad for business) but I had found somewhere else to setup a recurring order that actually had free delivery so it worked out better. But it was a very strange, turning down a lot of business when I'm trying to support local..
