Always overwhelmed by all the inventory. That doesn't mean it's not worth your time. Prices vary $ to $$$$. That's because they cater to both commercial and retail. Be specific to what you want and they're more than willing to help. Convenient, easy to get to. Old school.

This is the best place to buy gifts in Chinatown. Products have nice quality and they are cheap. Keyholders, shot glasses, pens and pencils, stuffed animals, souvenir plates, notepads, maple products. You name, they have it.

Very poor and disappointing customer service. One of the employees there yelled and publicly humiliated my sister when she went to shop for a pair of tweezers. They pointed her to a pair of tongs and called her stupid because according to them, tongs (yes, the ones you use to pick up food items) are the name of the brand & the utensil is called tweezers. Customers go in expecting to be helped, and at the very least be left alone while they shop. However, my sister was on the receiving end of loud yelling and confrontation. Someone please show them what tweezers look like.

I've visited this place a couple of times, initially thinking that I was the sole recipient of rude customer service from a specific lady. However after hearing a similar story from my friend I'm apprehensive about returning. The older Asian lady working there seems to have zero customer service skills and it's incredibly disappointing. She openly yells and shouts in front of everyone even for small questions. If you plan on going there, ensure you know what you're buying because without fail the old Asian lady appears and manages to yell. I experienced this twice when asking about the location of specific items, and her public confrontations made me feel on the verge of tears. I strongly advise against visiting this place and recommend looking for alternatives. Please reconsider going there at all costs.

The employees are extremely rude here. I went in looking for a pair of tweezers, and asked very politely if they had any. From the first time I asked, the cashier lady was so rude and told me to go to aisle 2. I was okay with the tone because at the end of the day I just wanted my tweezers. When I couldn’t find it, another employee lady rudely came and started saying things like “you’re dumb how can you not even find a pair of tweezers” and “stupid girl” etc. I was so confused with the hostile service but I still let it slide. She eventually led me to the tongs section, and harshly hit the tongs trying to point at it and said “here it is, you’re not even looking for the product, just complaining”. So I said, these are tongs, not tweezers. It was also written on the wrapper that these were tongs. She said that tongs and tweezers are the same thing and the name of the company is Tongs that’s why it’s written on the wrapper. At that point I was done with the rudeness and attitude she was showing me so I left her and went towards the exit. Right before I was going to leave the cashier lady asked me if I found it. So I mentioned to her about how rude the other employee was. She seemed apologetic, trying to help me out to find a pair of tweezers. But the other employee came towards me and started yelling. She was yelling so loud that it caught the attention of all the customers. At this point I was so confused and embarrassed by why she was making a scene. I yelled at her back to not be rude to customers and just left the store to avoid further inconvenience to other customers. In conclusion, I have never seen such bad service at a store. I would NOT recommended purchasing anything from this store.

I've been coming here since culinary school, then while building my food manufacturing operations and now running a restaurant. They always have a great selection to fit multiple budgets, so I still come here first when looking for specific tools or equipment. I hope you stay open forever ?

Exorbitant prices for regular stuff you can buy elsewhere. They don’t even understand how tax works. I returned a product and kept trying to explain to them that they need to refund me the tax too but she insisted that tax paid is gone and you can’t get it back smh. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else
