I had a wonderful experience with Leela when I went in to get a sofa bed last week. She knew right away which one would be the most suitable for me, and she went out of her way to make sure that it was delivered in its best condition. I would buy another furniture from her in a heartbeat!

Just over ten years ago, I needed to purchase a sofa bed. After visiting several furniture stores, I was not impressed with either the quality or selection. I went to The Chesterfield Shop, and was immediately struck by both the quality and selection, as well as by their reasonable prices. I bought a sofa bed from The Chesterfield Shop, and never once regretted the purchase.Fast forward to December 2023, and it was time to buy a new sofa bed. While there are still quite a few furniture retailers in Toronto that sell sofa beds, I would only make a purchase from one store: The Chesterfield Shop.I went to the mid-town Toronto location, which specializes in sofa beds and other city-size seating options. I was not disappointed. There were quite a few sofa beds on display, with several sizes, styles and colours for each one. I chose a size that is perfect for my room. I’ll also note that Latifa offered wonderful advice on the colour of the sofa fabric that would best suit my room. Her knowledge of the styles and features of the products was very impressive!I scheduled a day & time for delivery, and they showed up exactly on time. The gentlemen set up the sofa bed, made sure it was working properly, and even took out the old sofa bed & mattress for garbage pick-up. Professional and accommodating from start to finish!While a very minor adjustment was required to a support spring, The Chesterfield Shop service department promptly had their repair technician call me and arrange a time when they could come over to fix the spring. Their response was prompt, they arrived at the scheduled time, and were extremely professional. Because of their experience and ingenuity, the issue was fixed in under five minutes. Bravo!To sum up my two experiences purchasing a sofa bed from The Chesterfield Shop, I can say without hesitation that this retailer is above and beyond other stores in those things that matter most:• Quality• Selection• Price• Customer Service• WarrantyAs they just celebrated their 75th anniversary of being in business, I would like to wish them many more years of success!I give The Chesterfield Shop five gold stars! Very happy with my purchase from The Chesterfield Shop and the excellent service I received from Vanessa. I have a tiny entry way to the basement, but they had no problem moving it in and it was right on time.

Some of the most attentive service I've had, not only at a furniture store, but any store. We were given a detailed overview of multiple sofas by Leela (who we can't recommend enough). We went and checked out several pieces at their brick and mortar store and everything was very high quality and comfortable. The prices were higher than average (think the Brick, Leon's, Ikea, etc) but extremely competitive for the quality (much better than the aforementioned chain outlets).We ended up going with a piece from another store due to price and size and a tight delivery timeframe... I hope I don't regret it... but have a feeling I might...Anyways, if you need a Chesterfield... This store has its name on it.

Vanessa Guerrero, store manager, worked with us and with our interior decorator to help select a loveseat, sectional, and lounge chair that are perfect for our space. She provided exceptional service and product knowledge, and we have already gone back to her for an ottoman. Highly recommended!

Great experience with Vanessa from Yonge street store! Professional, patient and very well mannered. We were the kind of customers that are not easy to please, and she excelled in every regard. She was able to patiently work with us to resolve all our concerns and find the solutions that satisfy all our wishes working through many options of styles, sizes and fabrics that finally worked for us. The furniture we bought working well for our house and we really enjoy it. Highly recommend!

The moment I walked into The Chesterfield store on Yonge Street, I was welcomed by Vanessa Guerrero, Store Manager. I was looking for a new sofa and didn't know where to start. She was extremely knowledgeable and guided me through the store. Once I made my selection, she helped with fabric selection. From start to finish I had a great experience! We LOVE our new sofa! I highly recommend Vanessa, you won't be disappointed!
