Located on Wilson and Dufferin. There is a large lot with plenty of parking even with Costco right across the plaza. The store is plenty stocked with very friendly staff.Check out the end cap clearance as the products are a great find and backed with the wonderful HD guarantee. They take all forms of plastic and only the CSR manned check outs take cash.

Items were not in the isle that the online system said they would be and several times online inventory was not even close to what they actually had. Another annoyance is for several items like gloves, flashlights and more, you have to walk all over the store because they’re in bins.

This is BY FAR, The best Home Depot location. Nadir in tool rental is a really great associate as well, who makes the experience of renting tools & trucks a lot less stressful. He is very committed to customer service & ensuring that you have a great experience with your rental. Also, they always have stock available here & the other associates are great as well. Friendly, knowledgeable & reliable.Great location.

I wanted to buy indoor gardening supplies and plants. The shelves are not well cared for. They treat it like a stockroom. I didn't find what I wanted.

Some employees provide better service than others. In my experience the rentals counter has incredibly helpful staff members. The store is well stocked, and a recent return I had to make was simple and easy without any fuss. I like coming here. And it’s dog friendly which is nice too.

Absolutely horrible service by an employee named " Jess " .Jess is very rude and unfriendly and she does not care about customer satisfaction.I don't think she should be in the customer service section instead she should be working in the warehouse as far away as possible from the customers. She doesn't use appropriate language to address customers and does nothing to resolve customer issues. The other staff here are friendly but Jess is simply terrible.

This location thinks it's a good idea to have only self-checkout, especially beside a Costco lol. I decided to get flooring elsewhere after seeing that. In advance of their reply, I have no interest to follow up via private message. They can reply when they have cashiers.

Garden centre is good and people are quite helpful there, otherwise, in-store, can’t find products I need, management is bad and allow employees to pass the buck over to the manager who doesn’t even address things- simple questions etc.I asked for a refund on an online order purchased day before and they simply cancelled it, no money back, now I have to spend more time fixing this when I gave them the order details and all the information asked for..both in store and on the phoneThis store is a huge waste of time, I’m sorry to say, and sorry for the couple of employees that were helpful. I think this store is just very poorly managed, don’t care for customers, and Very inefficient. Please help me with my refund.NOT coming back

Went to Home Depot early this morning to buy a few things and Payton was really helpful and very thorough. He is a wealth of knowledge. We chatted and I learned a lil of his background. He is a gem. He says hes there daily. As for him if you need help. He will ensure you get the best product for your needs.

The only reason I even come here (and I really try not to) is that the staff are incompetent, unfriendly and lazy. Incompetence: Generally speaking, most (more than 90%) of the staff have absolutely no knowledge about the items in their departments, or working theoretical knowledge to provide advice on a given topic in a given department. I found myself getting the majority of my advice from DIY YouTubers and only coming here to buy parts or items that are not already readily sold on Amazon. I have asked for advice on tools, fasteners and paint among other things. And not a single time was I provided with an educated opinion about what's good and why, other than the employee arbitrarily pointing to something that might sell well but is not right for me, and say "that one."If you're going to work anywhere, you should at the very least have basic working knowledge to provide support and guidance to customers that may know little to nothing. I spent 5 years at the LCBO, and took numerous courses to educate myself about various styles of beverage so that in turn, I could approach a customer in need and confidently recommend a product whilst being able to articulate WHY. The staff make absolutely no effort in qualifying the customer - ie asking open ended questions to understand what the customer needs, and compile a solution for them that both generates sales for the store while simultaneously satisfying their needs and making them feel like you're recommending a product based on their individual needs, not just because it sells well. Unfriendly: generally speaking, the staff here are unfriendly. They demonstrate this with their body language as well as their carelessness when speaking and listening to a customer. When asked where a particular product is, an employee simply pointed over yonder and cited an idle number. No other details were given (halfway down the isle on your left hand side, etc) nor were any of the employees I spoke to willing to SHOW me where the item was, until prompted to do so, and even then it felt like a chore for them. There is no one to greet you when they see you've just walked in, nor an effort to thank you for your purchase at checkout. An employee at customer service just standing in front of the computer told me "sorry I'm busy here" after I asked her if she could help me with paying for an item that I had in hand. I would comment about what I'd do or how I'd deal with these kinds of employees if they were my employees. But I've never hired nor worked with anyone that's been as unfriendly as the people in this store. Lazy: Taking from what I said earlier, there seems to be a real issue providing hands on service for customers here. Unless prompted, employees did not actually show me where things were. They just pointed and provided an extremely generic approximation of where the item I was looking for might be. I understand it's a large store. But customer service is an absolute priority in retail. That doesn't mean kiss the customers ass because they're always right. No you shouldn't, and no, they're not. But an active effort needs to be made to assist customers and help them find what they're looking for, so that they can continue to shop here and ultimately end up paying (at least in part) for your salary. As someone who has worked many years in retail, managed people and a small business, I can say for certain that there are obvious issues here that need to be resolved. This is not intended to upset or pick on anyone. It's meant to open the eyes of the management so that they understand why customers are leaving such awful reviews and not coming back. And to help customers understand that they'd get a better experience elsewhere. I hope this has been helpful and that it will make an impact in the improvement of the customer service experience at this store.
