I had a great experience at this Zara store thanks to an employee named Samir. He was extremely helpful, patient, and professional throughout my visit.
Samir took the time to really understand what I was looking for, gave honest suggestions, and made sure I felt comfortable and satisfied with my choices. His positive attitude and attention to detail truly made a difference.
Customer service like this is not easy to find, and Samir definitely represents the brand in the best way. Thank you for such an excellent experience — I will definitely be happy to come back!

I had a very uncomfortable experience at ZARA today.
I went shopping with a friend. She was inside a fitting room trying on clothes, while I was outside trying on a coat (I only had one item, and my friend had 6). After I finished, I stood by her fitting room door to wait for her and help look at how the clothes fit, this is a completely normal behavior when shopping with a friend.
A female staff member came over and told me I was not allowed to stand there and must wait outside the fitting room area. I explained that I was waiting for my friend and simply looking at how the clothes fit, but she insisted that “by the rules,” I had to stand outside and could only enter again after my friend finished trying on clothes.
What kind of rule is this? Is this a clothing store or a gym? Are customers expected to keep walking in and out repeatedly? She was trying on six items, so does that mean I was expected to walk in and out twelve times just to look at how they fit??????
Other retailers like Aritzia clearly understand customer experience, they provide seating areas inside the fitting room area so friends can wait comfortably. I’ve never been told at any other clothing store that I’m not allowed to wait near a fitting room.
If this is truly a policy, it’s poorly designed and extremely unfriendly to customers. And if it’s not an official policy, then staff training is a serious issue.
This experience made me feel unwelcome and frustrated, and it definitely affects my impression of the brand. I won’t buy any ZARA cloths from Yorkdale again.

We visited Zara to exchange an item for a different size. One of the employees had braided hair and was wearing a necklace with the letter K. Unfortunately, the interaction felt quite uncomfortable, as the employee came across as rude rather than helpful. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but as a customer, I was simply expecting basic assistance and a respectful attitude. I was not looking for extra friendliness, just professionalism.

Hands down the worst Zara I’ve ever visited.
The customer service at this location is beyond unacceptable. Staff were careless, dismissive, and behaved like helping customers was a burden. I was forced to wait over TWO HOURS, only to be told they still couldn’t figure out my order and that I should “come back in 30 minutes.” Completely useless.
There was zero professionalism—employees were running around, laughing, and wasting time while customers stood there waiting. No coordination, no urgency, no accountability. This store is pure chaos and clearly lacks proper management and staff training.
Zara should be embarrassed to have its name attached to this location. Save yourself the frustration and shop literally anywhere else.

We asked to speak with the store manager due to a concern with a returned item. When the store manager approached us, she was visibly displeased and stated that no return confirmation would be provided. When we explained that the cashier had told us otherwise, the manager responded dismissively and rudely, repeatedly cutting us off as we attempted to explain our concern. When we pointed out that we were not being given an opportunity to speak, the manager raised her voice.
We asked for her name and requested to speak with her manager. She refused to provide her name, continued speaking rudely, turned her back to us, and walked away while we were still attempting to resolve the issue. We were extremely surprised and disappointed to witness such behavior from a Zara store manager. This conduct is unprofessional and unacceptable.
We subsequently spoke with two other staff members to ask how we could escalate our concern. Both indicated that the store manager is routinely rude to staff and customers alike.

Staff aren’t available at change rooms nor are they available for online pick up. It was difficult to find one of the staff to ask for help. When I did find one to speak to, they didn’t look up at me or acknowledge me. They’re quite rude.

I like this one, especially better than the other Zara store because I think they have more variety and option and easy to access

I had a very disappointing experience at this Zara location. The store manager behaved as though serving customers was a favour rather than his responsibility. His attitude was rude and unprofessional, and he refused to provide his name when asked. This is Canada, basic customer service requires transparency and respect. How can a store build trust or rapport with its customers when the manager will not even identify himself?
Since I don’t see any reply to any reviews here, it indicates the decline of this company.
